I might have missed something or too late to delve in but how do we know the fallen warrior in the picture is Georgian? Is three design Georgian? I think I recalled someone mentioned Byzantine being sieged in that trailer.
Hmmm, also did a photoshop sharpen kind of thing. My read (guess) is:View attachment 483280
????? Religious (Unknown, possibly Tourism) from this city ??? adds (production symbol)
So basically, Religious [Tourism?] from the city provides production.
[Edit]: tweaked it more. With 118% Kerning, it lines up perfectly. Tourism seems very, very likely.
Seems pretty niche. Super tundra tiles mixed with production from Religious Tourism. If St Basil's is basically the Tundra Petra, what the heck is the South Pole Station going to be?
Have East Asian cities always had such colorful evening lights? I have never noticed them before. Very pretty.
Thanks for the screenshots, Eagle.
Yep. The paper lanterns at night are probably a more compelling reason to play as Qin than any ability he actually possesses.Have East Asian cities always had such colorful evening lights? I have never noticed them before. Very pretty.

Ah, CivFanatics... if I read this sort of speculation anywhere else my response would be "not sure if serious" but happily I know betterThe tessellations on the sleeves, the style of hat, and the sword with small buckler are reminiscent of the Khevsureti people who live in the mountains of Georgia.
Nah, it's more poetic if the Georgia weirdos are eternally disappointed. It would be wonderful if the Tamar of Georgia meme from pre-Civ 6 launch actually ended up leading to a fully-fledged civilization!
What are the chances that Italy would be featured as a civilization in the new expansion? I know there are no Italian city-states in the game so far...
You see, R&F will introduce date palms. Can anybody enlighten me as to what the Tamar of Georgia meme actually was? I assume that before Civ VI's launch some speculation got out of hand?
During the development, in one of the videos there was a board showing all leaders (including Jadwiga, who was in DLC and Isabella, who didn't made it in release). The picture was quite small for 2k content police to miss it, but enough for fans to speculate. During this speculations, several parts of the image were identified as Tamar of Georgia by different people, so it quickly became a meme of that thread. Can anybody enlighten me as to what the Tamar of Georgia meme actually was? He's a leader I should like as a confirmed wonder monger, but both games I played as him were boring. Plus he looks like a toad. For some reason, @Zaarin, I am beginning to realize that you strongly dislike Qin. I wonder where I got that thought from.![]()

I never wonder spam as China. To me, they're much more of a science civ.
Now France on the other hand...

Hmmm... what are those patches of plants in the lower left hand corner of the first and third screenshots? A new resource perhaps?
