So basically I noticed that I wasn't getting roll results/values and of course that there was only one move...I understand if you didn't post the roll for a reason and just the board (so like I rolled a 5 or something last time and failed) but I think we all know it would be crazy to just play a whole game.

That said, my next action would be to open up an assualt on the Dark Lord with my valiant knights, hoping to deprive him of material in the next series of moves:

Or as long as it takes the person with the better Google-fu to find a better chess bot...Plus there's the fact that I'm in a separate time dimension from the other players so you guys could all die ages before in like a 50 move chess game.

I mean, I'm just saying I was/still am perfectly happy with rolls/roll results - whether it's success or "7: you don't actually contact the real Devil, and must deal with the robot Devil instead" and stuff like that

Is the chess match still on? just not "suspended time"? Or I am back, back - in 1982 though?

If this counts as an action I can roll on then let's do this - I press onward with a solid pawn wall to slow down any attacks from the Devil and gain advantageous position.

(If I'm in 1982 entirely, or have to keep "playing the board" I'll change my action appropriately)

You know how I could try to change someone's past so they were a banker in Minnesota - I think Milwaukee sounds just as good as Minneapolis when looking at it now.

So, the chess game is done, the moose/demon/hell alliance will have to be taken on sometime later...

I do send that letter off to Nintendo giving them different storylines for many of their games and changing CivG's past - so he's no longer stuck on his silly mission (also say goodbye to the lady friend...sorry) and ends up as a banker in Milwaukee...I wouldn't hope the timeline change has other effects but we'll see.
