ROTQM12: Re-enactment Of The Queen Mother

I see it. Good set Pholk ... looks like an interesting game.

I should be able to play tonight.

Here we go ... more food left off the table.

Obviously, someone hates bananas. Just throw down that city one tile south and it can grow onto the other dyes much quicker than it ever will :(

Other stuff that happened ...

Spoiler :

Apart from that - I worked on some of our infrastructure (roads).

Everything seems quiet at the front and remains so throughout my set. There is a bit more action happening in the western front but we are pumping out catapults and war elephants so should be able to clear and advance soon.

Stuff did happen though

[imagine pic of us researching Code of Laws and founding Confusedness]

Two techs until maces (one to forges), which will be our queue to advance I think.

pholk is UP!

Nice work!

yes, i am here. just bone tired from mail manning. I've got it, but likely won't play until tomorrow night. I need to catch up a bit on the game, too

alrightey, a whole lotta waiting for nuthin'

made a bunch of units and sent them to the front. In the north, i just ventured out to the jungle once the aztecs vacated it to try and chop it. However, an army moved next to our city, so i retreated back to defend. There are some workers there in anticipation of getting the chop done for safety's sake.

in other news, MC came in and saved up enough for Machinery, started some forges (also have some courthouses in the works in our western cities). Getting some confucian missionaries out to convert our cities.

Got some events:

and some GPs on my last turn:

Set played ... I will upload some pics tomorrow night.

Edit ... pictures ...

Why are we building a Confu missionary? We are fully Jewish. I put a catapult in here and viciously deleted the Confu missionary.

I also moved our units in 'that stupid, I don't ever want to grow dye' city out to kill off the units just hanging around. It almost cost me the TSIDEWTGDC.

Take a look at the log ... and then look at the surviving units ... one archer and one warrior.

Finally ... Espionage ... we have lost charts on Monty and the Chinese ... so I tweaked the EPs against them to pick the charts back up. I also failed to squeeze when completing Machinery and feel 3 beakers short.

BTW - next player ... take a look at this screen shot ... in particular ... the 'leads to' section. I see some good ol' romping fun in our future.

Speaking of charts ...

Here is the log ...

OK, played some more turns.

Researched Theology

To build Apostolic Palace with our GE, extra hammers (and can't lose to the AI love in Diplo victory).

Noticed that we could research Meditation (for extra hammers again) in 4 turns at 0% research so doing that but also got some beakers done in Engineering

And took the kids on a play date

Lost one catapult.

We can spilt up and head in two waves

Re-inforce as troops get built and get the workers roading up to our new conquests

oooh nooo - you razed that jungle bound little Aztec city. I was hoping that would grow to size 2 before we took in :(

A couple of suggestions ... ok ... one ... currency in 3 turns. In fact ... 2 turns with a little city research micro. That would bump our GNP a little.

And did you see that the Aztecs capitulated to the Greek - too funny.
