ROTQM7: Really?! Okay . . . Thanks for the "Memories"

good turns ~ sucks about the metal situation. I think a landing party may be in order onto Zara's island for a 2nd city asap.

i see it, but won't "get it" until tomorrow evening (24 hours hence)

Wow, you guys really let this thing run dry, huh?

It is hard to lurk a game that isn't moving.
I would have thought that a non moving game is the easiest game in the world to lurk. You don't even need to log in to lurk it :D:D

Oh sure, slap me with the common sense factor. :hammer2: (Methos, think before you speak, think before you speak, speak before you think, speak... :D )

bwahahaha ~ just checking on you'se guys ~ personally, i would've thought fox was going to be the one to crack the whip ~

Of course, TGL was BIDL ~

no, wait, it was a close land, sorry

when i ended my set, we had about 30 or less turns to a GM

There wasn't much else to do, but move our workboat (and then the second one too! yipee!!) I decided not to leave our game to a lowly warrior (though I know the chances are low, it would be just my luck to lose our only city), and built a DS. Guess we didn't need to worry about the lack of metal after all . . .

I remember to revolt a couple turns after TGL was done, so we're now in slavery, oR and Taoism

Zara built another city:

And I found another island SW of Zara

AFter priesthood, i went Hunting > Archery (3 turns left) for some archer protection.

Here's Zara's complete island:

And here's the new isle:

I'm wondering if perhaps we shouldn't just build a bunch of DS's and attack Zara ASAP. Notice his copper by his capital? Time, i think, is of the essence (sez the man who plays late ;) :) )

Finally, after watching my kitten grow old and die, a turnset is played.

In order to mount an invasion, we need galleys and a lot of dog soldiers. I can't see how we can do that without seeing a few axes in Ethopia ... those that will shed our dog soldiers to pieces while the rest of the Aksum-ians prepare cauldrons for some dog stews.

Well, what the hell, this game is doomed from the start anyway. Let see what we can do. I believe I am UP. So I got it, and I promise my turnset will be played before pholky turns up in some Courts of Brotherly Love being charged for attempting to sexually harass some schooling minors -- (for the uninitiated, that means pretty soon).

DISCLAIMER: No cats nor kittens were actually harmed with this post.

so fine then, be that way ~

fox ~ first, protecting the ******** and now my court appearance ~ i DON'T want people knowing my RL issues!!

well, in that case, oracle can be done in 15, gwall the same; pyramids 40. looks like we're OCC for a little then. we've got to figure out what to do about our other cities though . . .

We are pretty advanced  ... Really? Okay, ... Thanks for The Qoo Message!

RotQM7-BC1475-Advanced.jpg

I stopped the build of Dog soldiers and started a galley instead. Why do we have two extra work boats???? One exploring WB is enough!!! :whipped: And what's the point of having dogs when you cannot bring them out for a walk??? They are only gonna Moderator Action: removed pooo and peee in our city. :whipped:

So, armed with a spanking new galley, I completed the remaining dog soldier and went out hunting ...

We caught Zara with his pants down. However, the million dollars question remains: do we keep the city or not? As you can see, it has culture (already at the 2nd ring of culture border), so we can keep it albeit being size 1.

The dog named pholky says "keep it".

The dog named phero says "raze it".

Pholky: "We are in desperate need of a second city. And this one has gems and cows and fish."

Phero: "But the capitol of Zara is a better city site."

Pholky: "We can keep this one, and also capture Zara's capitol, thus completing our three cities."

Phero: "But you see, there is a new culture border nearby. It may be better."

RotQM7-BC1250-new.jpg

Pholky: "But if we only have one city in Zara land, there is ample space for other AIs to settle here as well. It makes it difficult to defend."

So, at the end of the day, as usual, Pholky and Phero can't decide ... and as usual, pholky and phero argued until it's 7.2 days late. And as usual, they gave up and let the others decide. (So now not only do you know why certain turnset always take 10 days to complete, you also know why the same certain turnset is always a mess).

As you can see, I am researching writing and building the henge. It is a far too crucial wonder to not build it. We may also want the oracle to slingshot theocracy once henge and writing is done to net one more religion.

Well done potty-mouth

We only have 3 cities and I think having decent production is what we are after. On an archipelago map, having cows, gems and 2 mines is a bout as good as we can expect and we should get the cities up and running asap. I'd take it.

I'm up I think, so will wait for thoughts before playing.
