Single Player bugs and crashes v37 plus (SVN) - After the 24th of December 2016

The high lighted in Red is your problem. Should of been upgraded to quarry from early quarry instead of building a mountain mine over it. You cut the upgrade path by doing this.
Mountain mines are supposed to replace the need for quarries on peaks and give access to anything a mine or quarry gives access to.
The problem I am encountring is a bit strange. I am not really sure if it is a bug or intentional though. I have a spike clubman with astonishing accumen and exceptional might 1 promotions. When it enters the city (Mutal), he gets bambo armor promotion and losts these two promotions. It loses the previous two promotions when I upgraded him to stone axeman as well. I have attached the saved game (his name is spiked clubman 1). I am playing with the SVN version 9445.
Without looking much deeper at the moment, I can't say how the bamboo armor is causing this but the upgrade is quite normal because that upgrade changed the unit's base quality and the exceptional might was reliant on the unit's quality level. You should be able to immediately retrain the exceptional might again unless you earned it for free (such as through a battlefield promotion) in which case, unfortunately you just lose it.
 
You need to list the XP options you have used for Game Set Up as well as any you use in BUG.

I am playing with infinite XP option. Battlefield promotions are also activated.

Indeed so, I tried pillaging that tile, and the only thing available to build on it was a mountain mine. I also recently had jade appear in another peak tile, and have the same problem - no jade-related vicinity buildings available in the city.

I explained why. The quality of the unit is the prerequisite for the promotion. When the unit quality changes, the prerequisite is thus lost and thus the promotion is lost. Since you got it 'free' you cannot retrain it when it is lost. If you had obtained it with a level, you'd be able to retrain to the comparable promotion for that quality level. Yes, in this unusual case, the unit becomes weaker for upgrading it. It's an unfortunate side effect of getting that promotion for free from a battlefield promotion scenario.

The astonishing accumen promotion is a quality up promo right? So that gets lost because the base quality changed as well, however, your unit should automatically have picked up the corresponding quality upgrade promotion automatically upon upgrading since at the time of the upgrade, the unit was a shift higher in quality than it's base definition would have it at. If you are playing with Size Matters Uncut, you may find this is not as reliable and the unit may just have lost out on the quality boost entirely, which would suck but I'm not inclined to work on Size Matters Uncut since I loath that it must exist in the first place.
 
Minor issue - using the latest SVN and just encountered "Penthesilea" of the Amazonian Empire. The text under her image reads "AI_DIPLO_FIRST_CONTACT_LEADER_MARPESIA_1".

Is anybody else having trouble accessing the svn? Whenever I try to browse the repository or update my files I get an error message:

Can't connect to host 'svn.code.sf.net': No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

I can browse the repo on SF's website in my web browser (https://sourceforge.net/p/caveman2cosmos/code/HEAD/tree/), and I can ping the svn.code.sf.net url, but something is stopping tortoise svn from getting in there?
Is anybody else having this issue, or has seen it in the past? I'm not using any proxies, in fact I was able to connect just fine back in August and nothing about my setup has changed since then. I can't connect from my brand new laptop either, so it's not just a problem with my desktop.
 
Been down since yesterday afternoon. You can log in and work your folder but to Update or commit it is not accepting.

It has not been updated, afaik, by StrategyOnly for Official v37 or SVN vervions after v37 Official. So you use at your own risk.

Knew something was up when you mentioned Amazons. They have not been in the Main mod's Civ group for sometime now.

Yeah, i have not updated anything since Sparth put out his Civ Pack .. .
 
Found an issue regarding master hunters turning into master rangers. The master hunters in question lost their Quality up promotion and then lost ALL their experience.

Kinda... it's not supposed to cost all experience when it auto reassigns the new quality up. Did they GET a replacement quality up promotion? If the base quality changes, the promotion providing the quality up will be a different name than the previous one.
 
About the issue I mentioned earlier - here is a later save game, that points to some problems related to mountain mines:

1. As before, the city of Tingis is not able to build Turquoise mine or any Turquoise-related cultures (like Moche, though it does have a peak and turquoise in the vicinity.
2. The city of Thaenae is not able to build the Jade Mine or the Jet Mine (I have Refining tech to build it and Obsidian + Jade in city vicinity). The Jade near that city wasn't there initially, it got discovered a dozen turns before.
3. Same Jade-related thing with the city Carthago Nova. It also can't build a Tin mine, even though it has Tin (again, on a mountain) in the vicinity.
4. City of Sabratha can't build a Copper Mine, and again, it has copper in the vicinity on a peak tile.

Looks definitely like a bug with vicinity bonus calculation in relation to mountain tiles...

Yes Oleh there is a problem with resources on Peaks. It was once fixed, then something was changed, and now it's not again. Thank You for your report. It is Noted and On the List. No time frame for a Fix can be given unfortunately.

JosEPh told me this is a better place post actual bugs rather than creating a thread, so here goes.

1. Orbital Hotel is classified as a "normal" building, even thou the "building icon" has silver star on it, signaling that it should be a National Wonder. Can be build in every city.
2. The Virotherapy Clinic 'building' also has golden star on its icon, but is classfied as normal.Can be build in every city.
3. Also two great peoples descriptions are fully in BOLD 1. Ineni 2. Acamapichtli

This is the first time I have mentioned losing all experience points on a master hunter. I'm not sure if its upgrading its quality or upgrading to a ranger specifically, though I am inclined to believe the former. We're talking going from 200+ experience to 0, and still needing all 200 experience points again to level once more.

In addition, you actually don't gain anything from moving a quality up'd master hunter to a master ranger. They actually lose a ton of strength with similar might promotions taken after the fact ( I had a str 12 master hunter and they moved down to a str 9 master Ranger. )

No, it did not gain a new quality up promotion or atleast a promotion icon that looked similar to the old quality promotion. I figure I needed the 2 might promotions prior to seeing that pop up.
After the first one I tried again with the second one and did do a more fine tooth comb lookthrough..didn't see one and gave up.
