Single Player bugs and crashes v40 plus (SVN) - After Oct 2019

Hi!

After ca 500 turns I have a problem with never enging end of the turn ...
This issue occures with c2c 40 version. So I have switched to svn version(11066), cleaned cache, 'recalculate' dlls, add something from game editor - but still issue persists.
The only way to make it working is to save it in game editor and run it as a scenario. But this is not exactly what I want to achieve:)
Do we know this bug, there is any workaround?
@billw2015 can fix it.

So far there is no bug that can't be fixed :D
 
Thanks. BTW: When it's happening I am unable to run task manager/kill civ etc (have to logoff - windows 10)
 
Can you point to what exactly is messed up? It looks like you are playing on a tiny screen resolution, so everything is quite squeezed, but I can't see anything obviously broken, or which broken bit you are referring to.
Sorry I was out working at camp for the last week. I updated from 38.5 and I think I just figured it out. The building display has been changed. Sorry for wasting your time

I tested it.
Have never had issues with removing events before, strange, could it have something to do with the recent fix that touched upon how events are saved/loaded.
Perhaps it went well for me because no civs had fulfilled the event requirements in the save I loaded, so the event had not yet been stored in the save. What do you think bill?

How easy would it be to make recalc clean up missing event trigger objects that are active in a game, like it does with units and buildings?

So looks like you can't remove event, as it breaks saves, where this event was triggered.
That is event needs to be completely remade to make sense.
 
Yeah that would be it, sorry you wouldn't be able to test it specifically. Not sure what the solution is, we should be able to remove events without breaking saves. Probably just need the loading code to be more robust to removed events I guess. For now the change is entirely reverted. Perhaps we can modify the trigger so it just doesn't happen for now?

That's the sensible next move.

Would be a sensible last move, when someone feels like tackling that. ^^

This is fixed in SVN now.
 
Mastery Victory should be unselected by default. It's not really working (30 pts for every single Phenomenal city means culture and number of cities are all that matters), and no-one is working on it.

Upgrade Space Station to Lvl 2 (Space Tourism) and beyond doesn't seem to work, even with multiple attempts with Heavy Rockets and Space Shuttles. The button works and the unit is consumed, but the Space Station Lv 1 isn't upgraded.

By the way you have invalid device error - seems like vanilla ini reset itself (_Civ4Config file in same folder as BTS exe).

ok, now after reload the camps r back??m also have noticed that i went back in the WB and changed to have no animals in my civs area's, and now it came back again, and i have lots of animals again there??

also, can someone explain this?? Before going to war, my turn times where around 1 minute, i have captured or abandoned like 25 cities mostly burned them down, i'd say 90% of them, and defeated around 250 units, BUT now my turn times is around 5 minutes??? went from 10,540 KB to now 6943 KB ??????
