Single Player bugs and crashes v40 plus (SVN) - After Oct 2019

Well.... That's highly unusual indeed....
Nothing weird happens when I end turn on 1.5, I've tried 4 times now.

I'll clean it up now. I will update the SVN and try again, unsubscribe here.

UPD After cleaning and updating, also no uprisings.

UPD2 Nevertheless, the game still crashes on this save:

That is, perhaps the reason for the crashes is not in barbarian civilizations? I have a game where I can coexist with one barbarian civilization for hundreds (!) turns without any problems. But - in a much earlier era.

One of these days I will try to continue playing from save 1.5, for the purity of the experiment. But - when - a separate question :)
 
Are you playing on Win 7? You may need to play on compatibility mode - this is the common case where those of us on Win10 don't get a crash those on Win7 experience now and then.

Hard to imagine I'd see a crash Toffer doesn't. If it's a MAF crash it might just be an older system hardware issue too.
 
Well, there goes that theory.

I'm really not currently setup for debugging but I can look into it maybe this weekend at some point - that said, 99% of the time if someone else can get it to run through, I can as well. It MAY be a difference in some options you have set that Toffer doesn't when he runs the save too.
 
Just a curious question, are you playing in English language or your native language?
Interesting question - we did have a crash bug that was lang based a while back didn't we?

Screenshot 105: Why am I allowed to build Frat House (or Sorority) housing in the Medieval Era. These are late Industrial early Atomic era housing buildings.

Screenshot 104: Keep building Yurts and Tipis only to have them removed a few turns later, same for Palaces and Estates. Building/Housing chains have been acting whacky for over a month now.

Multiple small "bugs" that have been popping up since early last month.

I've seen this happening before too, and it is rather annoying. Does it happen in all cities, or just a subset of them? I had a thought for a bit it might be related to the cultural toggle issue where a tile would flip back and forth between owned and unowned each turn, but it seems your cities might be too densely packed for that to be the issue. Maybe if a tile is switching back and forth between the cities?

The screenshot shows Frat House, which is unlocked with Education (Medieval era); Sororities come later. I've a feeling the designer intended for it to represent early Fraternities (e.g. Freemasons, maybe?) rather than the American "Frat House" which are apparently a thing from late 1700s/early 1800s. Probably an issue with design rather than function, but can't be certain given the above.

Can't seem to duplicate this on my end; both education and disease filters work fine. Make sure git version is updated, and if so upload save?

More likely a dll code problem as python only does what the dll tells it to do in this regard.
I haven't worked on any related code the last couple of months, so I'll let someone else look into it first in case it rings a bell for someone.

This represents on-campus student housing, which is not called "Frat House" afaik anywhere outside US SOI, but certainly does occur elsewhere. I don't know whether it is as old as unis, but I don't think that's terribly important personally. I would like the name changed though eg Housing(On-Campus).

Hmmm...Using latest Git thru Git desktop and the FinalRelease build, not Dev build. I update every morning. And if enough Git emails show up, in the evening too.

I also have a separate folder for SVN updates as a back up. Not using SVN currently on this my main computer but do use it on my back up comp. SVN has not been updated for a few days now. Needs to be imo.

I think I "might see" the problem from your screenshot though. will check it out and report back later.

EDIT: Nope problem still there. I'm stuck on Crime builds if I click on any Icons after Crime (handcuffs) icon. Disease thru Tourism only give me the Crime buildings. And I have played with All the buttons. All work properly up to and including Crime. After Crime (disease etc.) only Crime related buildings are shown.

Save game included.

Frat House needs it's preq tech changed then. Or raxo2222 may have shortened the name from Fraternity House. HydromancerX is the author of most if not all of the Housing buildings and their chains. Now I know that @raxo2222 did some work on these.

Whether HydromancerX meant Fraternity House to mean ancient Fraternal orders is something only he can answer. And he's not active here anymore. He also is American. And took many of the buildings from Sim City and converted them to C2C buildings.

I also noticed in the Civilopedia that the Housing chain Frat House has a very early connection as an offshoot. And iirc Sorority House as well (iirc).
