In whom I trust
The 3rd guy in Tim Lincecum, a star pitcher for the current MBL champions, San Fran.
Cute. Insults instead of issues. You must be a Democrat.
Michael Phelps: Suspended for three months after using a bong and is now involved with Project Believe.
I don't know who the third guy is, but in any case you chose two out of three celebrities who stopped smoking pot and have been involved in anti-drug movements. Great examples!
Is that an insult or issue?Cute. Insults instead of issues. You must be a Democrat.
I don't like smoking weed - probably more dangerous than tobacco.
However, although relatively conservative, I favor making it legal. I'd rather have the government collect taxes on selling it than paying taxes to have somebody try to stop it. U.S. hasn't learned from prohibition.
Free guns is another matter. I don't favor every wacko having access to a gun. You may cite it as cowardly, but I don't believe in playing Russian Roulette to prove I'm not a coward.
Some sense is required. I think people should be allowed to have a gun if they (a) have a good background check (don't want somebody who just got out of jail to be able to have one)
and (b) can prove they can handle it.
I'm not worried about some moron killing himself (that's just natural selection) but about innocent people being hurt or killed because "Oh, gee, it went off."
I have yet to meet a stoner who had any sort of sucess in life, so it's my personal experience I'm coming from. Just saying.
Nope, just a successful stoner.Cute. Insults instead of issues. You must be a Democrat.

Arnold: Smoked pot at one point. He recently opposed Proposition 19. (Admittedly, this wasn't entirely because he was anti-marijuana).

There's a good chance that you have. People tend not to be open about their lawbreaking. As for the OP, I think there's far too high of a chance that this would happen:

So is everyone from Apolyton now migrating over here or something?
Has the CivFanatics community finally "won"?
Far less dangerous, actually.
'atta boy!
I think even the most pro-gun people aren't in favor of having known violent felons legally able to possess guns.
Depends on what they got out of jail for.
If they just got out of jail for being busted with weed, for example, why not?
How do you prove this?
Basic knowledge of how to handle a firearm is really all that's needed.
Don't point at anything you don't intend to shoot, always assume it's loaded, keep it unloaded when in storage.
If that happens, it's usually their own damn fault.
One of the most common ways people get killed with guns is when kids discover daddy's shotgun in the closet and then decide to play cops and robbers. Parents simply need to mind their firearms better.
I just got arrested for the first time ever last night because some self-righteous jackass didn't like that I was smoking weed and called the cops. Now I can legitimately hate the government.
I was outside in the middle of nowhere(or at least as close as I could get) and someone decided to drive by. We weren't doing anything to them at all. People need to learn to mind their own business.
A little civil disobedience never hurt anybody. And you should realize that you're taking a risk by doing illegal activities. The fact that you believe it ought to not be illegal doesn't change the fact that it is.
