SMW4: Preview Thread

I'll take Mexico.

MWAHAHAHAHAH! And so begin the plans for an Oceanic Federation...
Glorious Nippon feels like this decision should not be made in haste.

I would like to ask if I could play as Russia? If not, my alternatives are Canada, Indonesia, Norway, or the Ukrainian rebels in AH. Whichever you think is best suited for me, since I have been in NESes you have GMed before, although I would prefer Russia if its still available. I haven't seen it claimed in this thread at least.

I highly recommend reading this thread.

For the record, yes you could do that, or you could read the comprehensive military/diplomatic history that condenses all of it. :p

Fixed the claims on the Front Page. Also note that the original SMW was hastily created, and modded. So get the back story from that, but not much else. :p

I made a map of what nations are left available:

I'm glad so much interest has been taken up with this. If at least half of you all send orders, we have the possibility of a very interesting NES!

For the record, I'm close to being done the stats, just Europe left. From there, I want to perfect a n upkeep system, some minor rule changes, and ultimately work on a decent tech, and UU system. So any suggestions or ideas are appreciated.

Do I have the OE officially now? Or is it still undecided?

And for tech, I'm thinking no tech tree. Maybe it is done randomly, but factoring in population and education? With some sort of modifier if you invest EP?

Islands above Russia reporting in

(no idea WTH those are, but I want)

If not, Denmark.

The Islands are a part of Russia, he just didn't color them. If you look, you will notice that mostly only mainlands are blacked out.

Some day, the Empire of Novaya Zemblya will rise, and you shall regret those words! :p

I rather wait to see the stats, but I'm going to pick either Portugal or a South American country.

Is South Africa independent/open? If so, indicating tentative interest.

Will we get a small description of what our nations have gone through since 1918 to 1922?

Oh and please don't make overly complicated stats!

No, make them as complicated as possible please.
