Snakes & Foxes 3: The ****oo's Nest (Game Thread)

well Tolis made his money by selling info to the combatants as far as I know. But Chand or or Izipo should be able to confirm this, if I remember correctly.

Oh, he wasn't the only one to try to sell someone else's stats.
Somebody even once asked 200g for the Ogres's stats. I thought it was outrageous at the time.

Wasn't the Eidolon trying to sell the Assassin's Stats?

Yeah. That assassin was me.

Wasn't the Eidolon trying to sell the Assassin's Stats?

Yah. I knew his stats and I knew I would win no matter what so I figured why not make some extra gold off of the fight as well? :D
Sorry Seon...but it was money and I never had nearly enough for anything!

As for my stats, here they are:

Eidolon
Player: Sepuku
Race: Demon
Nation: Sheaim
Alignment: Evil

You are a fighter who has walked so far down the line of evil that you have lost your mortal soul. You are now a demon (+Profane), seeking battle for battle's sake. Your trust only your blooded sword (+Melee), as well as your spiked armor and shield (+Armor, +Deflection). Your demonic powers also give you power over people's minds, if only to instill fear (+Mind). You have fought many a battle and have met and defeated many of the best fighters of the world (xMelee, xDeflection). The spikes on your armor means pain for any that try to grapple you (xUnarmed). You have no fear of those that call on demonic powers (xProfane), nor do you fear their godly counterparts (xDivine). What might bring you some problem though is demons greater than yourself (-Conjuration). Of mortals, those that are the worst to face are those who rely on moving around you (-Movement) or striking you before you get close (-Reach). You never fight fair, and those that are wary of such tricks from you get a small edge (-Alertness). Nature itself sees you as an abomination, and will strive to destroy you (-Nature).

Spoiler for Stats:
+Melee +Armor +Deflection +Profane +Mind
-Movement -Reach -Alertness -Conjuration -Nature
xMelee xUnarmed xDivine xProfane xDeflection

Special power: Corruption. You are not just a fighter, but a missionary of sorts, and can bring others with you into damnation. Once per five days you may corrupt another character. They must willingly embrace your philosophy, it cannot be forced upon them. They will receive +Profane from it, but there may also be other consequences. You will also grow in power, getting a +1 bonus in all battles for each convert that is still alive. GM note: The player of the character in question must send me a PM stating they agree to become corrupted.

I also bought +Power and +Reach or Ranged by the end.
I didn't know about the negative effects so while I was trying to sell this ability and towards the end give it away, you see I was only working with what I had. :)

All in all, great game Niklas, LightFang, and Diamondeye! I loved the write-ups and just the game itself! I think I may like these over NotWs!

Methinks we should get all the stats in one post so we don't have to go searching all over the thread for them.

I would have killd you if I had not bought that +divine knife :p

What were your stats, then? :p

I deleted my PM XD

I liked how you took your inspiration from Nightmare. SoulCalibur FTW!

I couldn't help it. When I think evil badass, I think of Nightmare. I think we fit pretty well together!
Sadly, Lizardman made his apperance in this game as well and he always beats me down :(

@Seon:
+Divine just sealed your fate. I woulda still kicked your butt ;)
Actually, I was most worried about our fight. I tried to get you into combat earlier cause I feared fighting you in the Arena. However, after a few failed attempts at that, I gathered a few scans on you and realized I had nothing to fear :)

Well, since Seon doesn't have his stats, could you post them? :p

NEVEEERRR!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p

Well...this is all I got:

Assassin
+'s: Poison, Divine
x's: Regeneration, Ranged
-'s: Power, COnjuration, Absorbsation, Synergy

I bought +Power for this one and had two little demonic minions if I remember right. So he got +1 for Arena choice and I got +2 for just being awesome and spreading my "corruption" ;)

I got stats on a bunch of other people as well, not complete but still alot. Should I post them as well?

Choxorn. Perhaps you should read up on FFH and host the next tourney :p.

Actually this is the first S&F to be set in the FfH universe - the other two were set in the, uh, Realm of Zeal, I think. Which means something to Chandrasekhar, but not me.

Also:

Spoiler that letter from earlier w/ last bit :
Sir,

As a loyal Balseraphim citizen since birth, I was overjoyed to be granted a seat in the grand theatre from which to watch the ongoing Snakes and/or Foxes tournament. The posters adorning every building, tree and fat/elderly/dead person in view promised, in addition to epic duels, a pre- and post-battle atmosphere saturated with intrigue, tension, accusation and counter-accusation, shouting and shoving and, you know, all of life's little brilliances.

However, instead of this unforgettable spectacle, I fear I have instead been treated to a slowly-dwindling arrangement of so-called 'mighty warriors' standing around listlessly and voting, without much in the way of enthusiasm, when they remember to. I need not explain to you, sir, that this is not how we do things in Balseraph lands. Each vote is an execution warrant, a clarion call for death combat, blood and guts and bones and the removal of one or more of the above; not the Foxford Poodle Fanciers' Cuddlepuppy of the Month election, by Arawn! That is not how you run a railroad, whatever one of those is.

But to cut to the thrust of the matter, since I am not merely sending this letter to rattle the cages in which you keep your freaks, my question is this: how heavy, sharp, rotten or demonic of an item can I or my fellow audience members throw before we technically become competitors?

Yours,

Concerned of Balseraph Capital City
