Well Christian Bale ate an apple a day to get into shape for a starvation role ;)

Also pretty hard on the body. Christian Bale was probably in reasonably good shape to begin with when he started this. It would be dicier with the host of health issues that come with a sedentary and obese lifestyle. Probably also helps if you make a crapton of money for doing it.

I love eating healthy and my luck I'll probably still have a heart attack later in life :D.

Well, something is going to kill you, one way or another. :p

Can you tell me what's going to kill me, please? So I can know to avoid it forever.

Lack of life. I don't know how to dodge it successfully for very long periods of time but I'll welcome your input & reserve the right to use any such methods. Good luck.

Yes, there's them thar telomeres. Just stop them being cut off every time the cell replicates. Job done. Or something like. Some biochemist can tell me how.

I can not die. I am Warman 8! :king:

That's just the testosterone warping your risk assessment process. It'll fade soon enough, enjoy the feelings of immortality while they last. ;)

He died of a cancer that has an extremely high survival rate because he put off dealing with it while he farted around with natural remedies while it spread throughout his body.
Maybe it was deliberate? Eg, die "when the timing is right", so he would be remembered forever as like a saint or something. :dunno:

Do you guys think that this setup would protect an egg from a 65-75 ft fall?

Spoiler :

Blue is bubblewrap, brown is peanut butter, white semiboxes are marshmallows and the dark yellow is cornstarch and water

Oh, those projects from High School. Heh, long time ago, long time ago for me...

Perhaps. But why would you want to die on purpose?

Is this for real?

Oh, it's for real, I only have about 3 in square and 10 in high to work with.

Peanut butter isn't exactly... ideal... you'd need something with a lot more viscosity or a lot more, uhh, slow/dispersed kinetic energy absorption for lack of a better term.

Any suggestions?

You want to decrease the force of the impact. I would swap the bubble wrap and the peanut butter around the egg. Think about it: a car compacts a lot when it crashes into a wall. That is to increase the time which the momentum is decreasing. The bubble wrap is squishier than peanut nutter (I think*) so that would help in increase the time.

*Crunchy or smooth?
