Hahahahaha, sorry guys, but this is what happens when you dont watch the tutorials.

I never watched the tutorials, I was 2nd in my first game and had warp gates plastered everywhere. I did however, not have my awesome setup that I currently possess.

Thomas's patch at the apparent outbreak of peace, and my sinister tech dealings:

What are hopefully the final rav-raiders are about to be defeated. Now our battle-hardened fleets zoom north to win some actual spoils of war from rav and whoever else gets in our way. Spent some considerable sums on 3 new stargates to help facilitate this.

Where is my tech.

I already said there is a power shortage. I dont know how could I survive three hours of life in candlelight. And I go to bed because I dont expect ppwer to be back any time soon. Posting from my mobile for the last three hours.

Tots fine, JoanK.

Right now, I'm on the fense. Should I finish off Blackswimmer, or should I invade Sludge posthaste?

I'm a couple rounds away form upgrading to Warp Gates.

Also, going pure Scanning research, at least until I could research something useful. Am buying Terraforming.

Keeping the ships flowing just to be safe. Rav has a 500+ ship moving in on his own star to my north that tuna is about to capture with a fleet of 100+.

Aries Corporation Superhighway Development Plan

White is the Main System.
Yellow is a secondary system, which is less viable due to costs, closeness to enemies, and other such problems. However, when built and garrisoned, they can greatly speed up reinforcements.
Blue is the normal speed ships.

@Terrance, I've got stargates right at the front lines right now. Its not such a huge investment, and is a massive tactical advantage, at least in an area of relatively scattered stars - I'm brining in large fleets from near my core before the enemy can cross from the nearest star. You plan looks cool, anyhow :)

@GemHound, rav is being randomly an arse. None of his fleet movements made sense recently, he's just lashing out, knowing he's dead.

Here's the Rav fleet that I fear will continue south.

I'd like to take a short minute and say that even if I don't survive this game I've enjoyed it immensely. It feels awesome to plot as a community against the rest of the internet. It was what turned me off about the original Neptune's pride - we were forced to fight each other there.

My offensive has been successful. Best case, Red Circle would have crumbled in desperate moves to reinforce his positions under attack while trying to threaten mine. Worst case, nothing changes. Instead, all went more or less according to plan, in the sense that all primary objectives were achieved while maintaining a strong position all along the front.

In about 24 hours I count on having received enough reinforcements to push Red Circle out of the critical area. Green Oval still threatens any attempts to advance on the right flank, which would help me achieve total operational victory.

@JoanK, glad to hear that things are going well on your front. Sounds like it has been an exhausting struggle.

I gently probed Bizzle on this, no luck so far.

Under attack by sludge. I probably need to pull back slightly until reinforcements arrive. He have overwhelming weapons advantage.

Great Southeast Sector War: Terrance vs Sludge&Ragnark vs TanSerrai&Allies vs Angst&Allies. Not complicated at all :p

For now though, Space Elves are rollin' in the north!

I'm afraid the deflector field will be quite operational when your friends arrive.
