wow. Defently interested now. I really want to play Mexico in the NES. but I won't reserve it or lay claim to it yet. just express a strong desire to play it.

With the split Americas, I have no problems with the alt-NES anymore.

Dare someone to take one of the tiny American states

I certainly will take one of them :p Looks like fun.

It was hard deciding between the 1830 althist and a rtor NES. You should have allowed multiple votes :(. I think I made the right decision though...

I've actually got a preliminary nation list down and the map is nearly finalized except for Africa. The list will be provided at the end of the evening and if all goes as planned, this NES could be opened as early as May.

I'll take Brazil of course. They like me there.

Sweet, canny wait for this :)

Mmm yes must say it looks good. British Empire wouldnt be bad... feel like playing a nation with a bit of power for once...

Good idea :D...
I think that I will play something that is far away from the main centers.
I will play that Ethiopia or whatever it is... on the somalian peninsula.
If I could?

Yeah, My hybrid debates and Yemen seems good. (Hi Honzas! Thanks for getting me a 'Golden age'!)

As promised here is a list of nations for the alternative history NES. This list is subject to change at the moment, but the majority of the nations will be there.

flyinchicken's post did bring up a good point as well. There will be power listings at the start of the NES and I will rank powers to help people determine who they want to play as. A "medium" power would probably be something like Virginia, New York, or Sardinia-Piedmonte.

Sorry for spamming, but when can we start reserving nations?

Do we know the economic system to be used in this NES yet?

The rules will be mostly identical to TWTUD, but there will be exceptions, especially in regards to colonialism and expansion.
