I jumped on Hobbs using insults not appropriate and actually counter productive to my line of debate. I still think you we're being dismissive to avoid debate but I could have reacted better.

It's edited now but I am sure some saw it, so I am calling myself out.

This is an olive branch to all of CFC OT. I am so thoroughly tired and disgusted from hearing about all things Greek that I finally realize what it must be like for non-Americans to have to deal with the flood of US-centric threads day in and day out.

I am therefore boycotting myself partially in that I will not, for a period of one year from this date, make any US-centric thread. It is my hope that the leaders of Turkey will read this and react appropriately by invading Greece.

It's true - reading this forum for so many years convinced me that i should have no more respect for the greek and polish civilizations.
And sort of on topic, if i had any say in it, i would EXTERMINATE ALL OLIVE TREES ON THE PLANET. Because i HATE olives - they are the fruit of satan and are a plague of this Earth. Also, the first time someone put olives on a pizza was the moment when God abandoned us; after that moment, it was clear that humanity is doomed.
