OMG, Mongolians taking over Melilla... Wrong positioned, but Melilla... I don't want to be Mongol!!! xDDDD

Seriously, I've never had a Uber-Mongolia, but they're are very strong, and why they don't colapse?

There is a larger OMG in Mayor's screenshot.
Rome is first in score and shaky/stable?

Check this out, Greece survives into the 20th century without collapse.

They respawn in 1850, have you met them before then?

I edited a win and saw that they lived through the whole time.

In my opinion, random Mongol conquest is a great thing, even if they go way over the top. In both my games so far they just became Chinese vassals, died instantly, came back when their stack spawned and after taking random Middle Eastern cities collapsed. Germany took over central asia in my first Russia game so that appears to be common.

Found a bug.
Screenshot 1: Byzantium declared war on me (Greece) and than collapsed. On the same turn (I think) Odessos flipped to them. Look at the message that resulted from all this chaos at the top of the event log.

Screenshot 2: One turn later, the insanity continues. I see an independant GG near kiyev. This may not be a bug, but the proximity to the broken collapse makes me suspicious.

Are the Romans pounding the Germans? :hmm:

Yes, but (unfortunatly) Rome collapsed some time later and germany got its cities back.

This is supposed to happen in the 9th century, not the 19th! And no, France's capital didn't move - it was already in Milan, the christian holy city, before this happened.

Are you playing on Marathon/Epic Speed?

Weird things tend to happen on them.

The likely scenario is that China possibly razed/captured Karakorum on spawn
and resisting Mongols had their conquerors spawned on the same turn on their
war of resistance; with the first city captured in the Middle East, it ended up
being their capital.

I got beaten to the conquerors by Egypt, who doesn't even have Optics.
(Yeah, I know how it happened.)

I don't. Or did they flip a caravel from Arabia?

I'm working on a game as Germany and plugging away at getting Printing Press after failing the Apostolic Palace quest; when a GP pops up in Wien!

"Hurray!" think I as I go to check on who moved into town.

He says his name is Johannes Gutenberg and he wants to help me develop ...

Spoiler :
Engineering!
