We are having a nice long Golden Age. :D

Triple Score already?! So you've pretty much won already then. Hate it when that happens.

LOL the amazing power of the Great Wall. The Mongols will probably flip like 25 Horse Archers.

Also are you going State Property this game? There's a ton of Workshops there.

I'm not going Communism, I'm just trying to play without cottages. I want to learn to play SE, but production attracts me more.

The unusually high amount of barbarians may have something to do with my destroying India, Korea, Japan, Khmer, Indonesia on spawn. Or not. :crazyeye: I really fear the Mongols and Mughals will get too many units from barbarians.

The follow up:

See the number of Mongolian Horse Archers!
For whatever reason, Mongolia and Mughal both didn't settle cities (at least till now). Mongolia's capital is in Russia. :crazyeye: Good news is Russia vassalized to me, and they held.

Bad news is, I didn't. Had to reload.

^ Why do you kill Indonesia? They give you very good Trade Routes since their cities are overseas with large populations, and they're usually friendly with China (unlike psycho Sury) too.

I usually Fort a hill outside the Great Wall - such as the Cotton hill near Turpan - and Fortify a bunch of Pikes and Muskets in it. Barbs will suicide on it and give you some free XP. It also helps reduce Mongol flips. However, the last time I checked the Barb GG point effect of Terracotta Army does not work.

I'm just experiencing new ways of playing. Killing India wasn't too smart either, since they provide much needed resources and trades, but I did it anyways. And I found this "bug" with infinite barbarians.

An alive Mongolia in 1775 AD. That's nothing unusual, but then I noticed something...

Mongolian colonialism?

Also featuring Monster Persia/Iran, and for some reason the Portuguese stubbornly refused to expand at all.

Mongol Athens on it's own is reasonably common.

From my recent failed Rome Domination attempt:

I wonder why China likes East Africa so much.

Also a Chinese enclave in Eastern Europe.

A Holy Roman outpost.

France was late, so Russia took over. Khmer horsemen make a valiant stand against both Russia and the Thai. 3000 BC America still yields good photos. (Only this and next one)

German conquest of the Arabian Peninsula. Still 3000 BC America

Obviously my "killing civs on spawn" policy has made Leoreth forbid declaring war on new civs in the SVN version. So to achieve Chinese UHV we need to adopt some changes.

Ten turns, but you could trick the civ to declare on you and retake the city which will cause their death. There'll be some units for them spawning and I don't know if the flip of units will continue. If you are going for UHV then not being able to settle Japan in time will be annoying.

If you're going for anything, not being able to rush Japan is a serious setback.
Wait, so what about civs that DOW you on spawn? Like the Mongols?
Can we still rush them?
