50 ammunition to create 10 improvised explosives.
Scavenging
S1 will consist of 100 population and 385 slaves, armed with 90 LT melee, 10 1-H guns, and 100 leather armor. S1 will travel to the Port of Wilmington shipyard and conduct scavenging operations there. Special attention is to be given to search for tech parts and any weapons or ammunition that might be in the area.
Exploration
Expedition 1
E1 will consist of 1st Company and will set out from Fort Delaware. 50 population, 20 LT melee, 20 LT ranged, 10 2-H guns, 10 improvised explosives, 50 leather armor, 5 canoes, 4 rafts.
E1's 50 population will initially fish from the docks of Fort Delaware. The 50 population assigned to fish at Fort Delaware will use their equipment and craft to travel to Chester and carry out the trade of food for laser weapons. The trade will be carried out at the docks of Chester. The fishermen will observe everything they can about the docks, defenses, sentries, location of the small boats and canoes of the settlement, everything.
The fishermen will return to Fort Delaware with the laser weapons and report back to E1. E1 will then be in a state of readiness. 10 people on 2 canoes will scout around the Chester settlement. When a night comes that Chester's two small boats are docked at the settlement, and preferably a night with as little moonlight as possible, the operation will be given the go ahead.
E1 will travel to Chester in the dead of night. This is a stealth operation, and if everything can be accomplished without any bloodshed or raising the alarm, that would be ideal. The 10 2-H guns are NOT to be used until and unless the alarm is raised. Neither are the explosives.
E1 will row into the vicinity of Chester docks, evade any sentries on duty and row up to their two small boats docked at the settlement. E1 will stealthily climb aboard and take control of the small boats and prepare them to sail away. If possible, the canoes of the settlement are to be seized as well, but only if they are tied up at the same docks or are otherwise easily accessible.
The small boats, canoes, and rafts will sail away. As everyone pulls away from the docks at once, the improvised explosives are to be used to set fire to Chester's docks, presumably made of wood and easily set on fire. The LT ranged weapons are to utilize fire arrows in order to aid in this. This is a brief strike and should not delay E1 making their way to the safety of the open sea.
E1 will return to Fort Delaware with the seafaring craft they capture. Anyone who dies will be, if at all possible, recovered during the operation in order to avoid leaving physical evidence behind. No uniforms or AML specific clothing is to be worn, no flags thrown, no identifying symbols brought along.
Expedition 2
E2 will consist of 50 population, 30 1-H guns, 20 LT ranged, 50 LT melee and 50 leather armor. They will set out from Memorial Anchorage. They will cross the delaware memorial bridge along I-295, then follow I-295 north, past Paulsboro to Route 130. E2 will then travel north on Route 130 and explore the route to Trenton. They are not to engage any hostile force that is equal or superior. Avoid conflict if possible. Attempt to travel around obstacles to continue exploration, but dont be afraid to turn back short of the goal if in extreme danger. Send 1 messenger, up to a total of 5 over the journey, back to home base at periodic intervals in order to establish progress reports and to mark where the expedition was last known to be if communication is cut off.
Expedition 3
E3 will consist of 50 population, 40 2-H guns, and 10 LT ranged, 50 leather armor. They will go west from Memorial Anchorage, aiming to explore Newark, Delaware and the University contained within it. The focus is on finding tech parts or other specialized equipment but nothing should be overlooked. Send 1 messenger, up to a total of 5 over the journey, back to home base at periodic intervals in order to establish progress reports and to mark where the expedition was last known to be if communication is cut off.
Expedition 4
E4 will consist of 50 population, 50 LT melee, 50 leather armor. They will set out south from Memorial Anchorage and explore south along route 13 as far as Dover Air Force Base (SK you previously told me towards the beginning of the game the map boundaries were only for starting positions and would not necessarily limit exploration or expansion. The delmarva peninsula, to my knowledge, has no effect on canon). E4 will not engage any superior or even hostile forces. If they are blocked by a hostile force, they should try and circle around and continue their exploration. Send 1 messenger, up to a total of 5 over the journey, back to home base at periodic intervals in order to establish progress reports and to mark where the expedition was last known to be if communication is cut off.
Notable locations on their path should include the correctional facility in Smyrna, as well as the State Police firing range in Smyrna, which may hold weapons or other materials. Dover Air Force Base is of definite interest on the south side of Dover.
Challenge
When our expedition returned from Havre de Grace, they brought back with them a couple of strange robed figures, bearing sinister three-pronged sigils and carrying what were clearly fragments of irradiated metal. After they were established are peaceful, they claimed to represent a sect of the Church of the Children of Atom. According to them, the Great War was Atom’s gift, the creation of a Glow of life. This particular sect claimed to be the guardians of “Atom’s Blessed River,” with Havre de Grace being merely an outpost. They know of our maritime capabilities, and are interested in establishing closer ties with us in order to expand, even willing to lend us a powered boat--but they would like our fusion core in return.
See the trade deal with the atom. Our borders are to be opened to any missionaries that may wish to travel to us, but incitement and violence will not be tolerated. If either occur the missionary should be taken aside and politely told that such behavior will not be tolerated even though we wish to learn more about the religion.
