Background: With its roots in the ancient Visigothic Kingdom of Hispania, the nation of Hispania was invaded by Moorish soldiers in the year 711, with only the region of Asturias resisting the onslaught. Over a period of 781 years, the Christian Kingdom of Asturias and the Hispanic Marks created by Charlemagne in the regions directly to the south of the Pyrenees would organise and start to fight the Moors, which would go through several phases of unity, breakdown into Taifas, reunion thanks to the Almoravids and Almohads and once more breakdown until 1492, when the Nasri Kingdom of Granada surrendered to Ferdinand and Isabella, the Catholic Kings. It was also during the Catholic Kings' time that Christopher Columbus discovered the continent of America, bringing a new era of expansion to the Spanish Kingdoms, which wouldn't be united into one until Philip V. In 1808 Spain was invaded by the Napoleonic troops, but aided by the United Kingdom Spain was able to expel the French from the Peninsula. The nineteenth century would be the one where democracy would start to settle in the nation, but many things would always unsettle the nation, culminating in the loss of the last Spanish colonies of Cuba, Puerto Rico and Philippines. The twentieth century would see the first military dictatorship in the country led by Miguel Primo de Rivera and the Second Spanish Republic that would last 5 years before being destroyed in a Civil War that lasted 3 years. Francisco Franco would take the reins of the nation for 39 years, and after his death Juan Carlos I would turn the country around, working hard to create the first stable true democracy Spain had ever seen, a democracy that has lasted till now and everyone hopes will last for much more time.

And, suddenly, there were no more Pyrenees (25-3-2017)
In a surprising move no one had expected, the Spanish Army crossed the border with France and conquered it after a brutal battle with the French Army. Surprising it with the displacing of half of the Army through the Atlantic Ocean thanks to the SDSM Suárez fleet, which was then landed in the French western coast, the battle would finish once these group arrived, inflicting the French Army a powerful and painful defeat thanks to the tactics employed by the Spanish Army. From then on, it was a cakewalk, with the army working perfectly to take control of the nation before marching into Paris and formally take over the nation of France. According to sources within the Government, France is to be divided in 6 Autonomous communities with Spanish and French being co-official in them, although for the moment French will be the only language used while Spanish is slowly being introduced to the population.

United Iberia: back to the times of the Borbons (20-2-2017)
More than 400 years ago, King Philip II ruled over all of Iberia, thanks to his inheritances and to his political ability. Now, in the year 2017, both Andorra and Gibraltar, the first of which has been independent since 1278, and the second, who was taken by the British in 1713 and declared independence in 2012, have joined the Kingdom of Spain after a series of military demonstrations by the Spanish Army. Andorra would join without too much fuss, since their economy and everything else was nearly totally dependant on Spain to work, but Gibraltar would put up a token resistance of a few tens of people lead by Chief Minister Caruana, resistance that would dissolve soon after being faced by a whole Infantry division. Debate is still on which is to be the destiny of the two small countries, although it is believed that both cities will join the nearest provinces (Andorra to Lérida and Gibraltar to Cádiz) with a special law being passed by the Government to make sure that transition to Spanish government in both territories goes smoothly and to preserve the co-officiality of Spanish and English in Gibraltar.

Portugal conquered: will become 3 Autonomous Communities (28-1-2017)
After a battle in the shores of the Douro River, the Portuguese Army (at least, the part that was still active, which was much smaller than the one before WWIII) was completely defeated, and all of its members were imprisoned or killed during said battle. The attacking force would advance totally unopposed until reaching Lisbon, where the remnants of the Portuguese Government that were still there conceded defeat in this very short war, signing the surrender of Portugal to Spain on 20th January. Already plans have been made to divide the country in three parts, with each part becoming an Autonomous Community of its own right, and keeping Portuguese as an official language alongside Spanish: Northern Portugal, Southern Portugal and Azores-Madeira.

Spain will help its neighbours recover, says President Márquez (2-1-2017)
In surprising news from La Moncloa, President Gabriel Márquez has stated that Spanish will do "what it takes" to help its neighbours recover from the current economical, political and military crisis all of its neighbours have been facing recently. With Portugal already on the plans for being saved from the crysis, people on the street believe that the nearest lands, namely Andorra, France and Gibraltar, should be the next to be taken and protected. No one from the Congreso commented on these rumours, but it is quite obvious from the President's comments that the Gobierno is actually planning something similar.

Portugal to be annexed? (25-12-2016)
In these chaotic times, the Congreso de los Diputados accepted, after a long debate, to expand the size of the army to bring order to those nations that have lost it due to the chaos created after World War 3. The most known examples is, naturally, Portugal, who was very affected by the loss of their army after a good half of it died in the Battle of Pyongyang and the rest decided to go on a strike that is still on. This decision was also brought on with the news that several nations over the world have started to make plans for similar actions against their neighbours, most notabily China and the recently formed Shiite Alliance in the Middle East. It is hoped that the nation's plans will work out for the best in the middle of these troubled times the world is facing.

Background
Only days after the bulk of the Coalition forces had left Iraq insurgent attacks on Iraqi Police Forces and the Iraqi army increased dramatically. Old insurgent hot spots like Ramadi and Fallujah were almost completely taken over within weeks by a new and more aggressive insurgency led by the mythical Baghdadi and the local US military bases soon started receiving daily mortar and rocket attacks. Unable to properly defend against these attacks due to the status of forces agreement with the government of Iraq, U.S and Coalition casualties started to mount. With the Iraqi Army and Iraqi Police unable to stop these attacks the remaining Coalition forces was forced to leave Al-Anbar Province. Meanwhile in Baghdad small arms fire, IED attacks and mortar attacks had escalated to be a daily occurrence. The death toll was immense and the bloodiest fighting in Iraq since the US Marines pushed trough Fallujah in 2004 took place between Baghdadis militia and the IA. Months passed and the insurgency grew even stronger with Baghdadi managing to unite the many small insurgent groups and militias. Coalition casualties throughout Iraq had increased to the point that it was no longer viable to keep a military presence in country and they soon withdrew leaving the poorly trained and equipped IA fighting a dedicated and deviously lethal enemy on its own.
With IA bases surrendering to Baghdadis militia in the north and west, Baghdadis strength was growing too strong for the Iraqi government to contend and high leaders escaped the nation. Civil war ensued but no faction was near strong enough to be able to put up much resistance to Baghdadi and his Islamic Revolutionary Army and after a few months of intense fighting Baghdadi proclaimed himself the leader of Iraq. Iran was fast to recognize his Shiite government as the legitimate government of Iraq and other Muslim nations soon followed step.
What Baghdadis next step is is as of now unknown but it would be foolhardy to believe he is content in keeping his “Islamic Revolution” contained in Iraq...

Iraq expels Jordanian ambassador
In the past decade tensions between Jordan and Iraq have been escalating and today the Jordanian ambassador was expelled after a long meeting with the Iraqi foreign minister. Many believe a war is to come and while no official statement have yet to be made by the Iraqi government the nations military has been put in a state of mobilization, only time will tell if this is merely a show of force or not.

President Ali Al-Baghdadi is proud to have the privilege to announce the foundation of the largest alliance of Muslim nations since the Prophet Mohammed was alive. Iraq, Iran and Pakistan have agreed to join their nations in the fight to rid the Muslim world of foreign influence. For too long our brothers in Sunni led countries have been beguiled in to a life of vice. For too long have we stood and watched our nations get robbed of their oil, their culture and most of all their virtuosity. Religious tolerance, a poison to our society, will no longer be acknowledged in our nations as the Shiite way is the only way to find peace with God. Iraq takes the first step today with deposing the corrupt King Abdallah of Jordan and replacing him with a Shiite head of state to lead the nation in to a new era of morality by ridding it of its western influence.

Major Hussayn stood in the window of his new office at the commandeered childrens hospital in Amman, looking out on the streets as people were going about ther business. What he saw appalled him. Women walking around unescorted, laughing, talking to strangers. Some even had their hair showing. As the OIC (Officer In Charge) of the Department for the Promotion of Islamic Virtues and Prevention of Vice's branch in Amman it was his job to make sure the Shari'a laws were implemented in the city.
His task was no small one, Amman was a large city and its inhabitants have been corrupted by foreign ideas for a long time. Only minutes ago he had finished a meeting with his captains, giving them their instructions on how to impose the Shari'a laws. No longer will women be allowed to walk outside their property alone, no longer will they be allowed to smile or talk to strangers, no longer will they be allowed to expose skin outside their home. If a woman is caught breaking any of these laws, religious police will escort her home and the head of the family will be whipped. If the woman is a repeat offender, all male members of the family will be brought to the nearest marketplace or town square to be whipped in public. Major Hussayn sat down in his chair, put his feet up on the table knowing in his mind that what he was doing was the right thing to do. Serving his God and his country...

Build a factory in Perm, Russia.
Invade Estonia. Start with an aerial attack by the 20th Air Corps which will soften Estonian resistance west of Narva and the Russian regions. Then, the Steel Guards will storm through and push for Tallinn, killing or arresting anyone who resists, using the Narva road (the highway running between Tallinn and Narva). The Baltic Navy will enter Estonian waters ahead of the attack and make sure ships leave the major ports of Tallinn, Pärnu, and Haapsalu.
March 2017:
Spend 6c on two Infantry divisions, which will become part of the 11th Guards Army (Estonia).
Spend 5c on one T-95 division (5th Tank Guard Army - Steel Guards).
Spend 2c on repairing the Mechanized division damaged in Estonia.
Invade Latvia using the newly reinforced Steel Guards. Do the same that was done in Estonia, attack enemy defenses with the gunships of the 20th Air Corps, then run the Steel Guards through via Valge and crush any remaining resistance. The Baltic Fleet will sit off the Riga and destroy any ships leaving. The Steel Guards will surround Riga, then the 20th Air Corps will pound the city. Then, once the bombardment is done, the land forces will close in slowly and take the capital eventually. Arrest all the government officials of the Latvian government, and the exiled Estonian government.
The 11th Guards Army will remain in Estonia, and will mop up the mess there. They will seize records of all members of the anti-Russian organizations in Estonia, and use them to raid homes and arrest them in the middle of the night. They will then be shipped to a prison in Russia, where they will await transfer to another location. These actions will be done quietly, and all those who were arrested will be considered defectors, either having fled to Latvia when the invasion took place, or having snuck out afterward.
April 2017:
Spend 6c on two Infantry Divisions to be placed in Russia. These would be formed into the 19th Guards Army.
Spend 5c on one T-95 Division to be added to the 5th Guards Tank Army.

Invade Belarus with the reinforced 5th Guards Tank Army with support from the 20th Air Corps. They will use their superior firepower to crush the moderately strong Belarusian army.

LATVIA FALLS!

Elements of the Steel Guards' Mechanized Division rest in Ogre​

The Russian Armed Forces, leapfrogging off their success in Estonia have invaded and crushed the nation of Latvia. The invasion began on March 4th, with the 5th Guards Tank Army crossing through Valga/Valka, the town split between Estonia and Latvia. They quickly surrounded the capital of Riga, while the Baltic Navy sat off the coast, completely encircling the city. From there, the gunships of the 20th Air Corps locked down the skies over Riga, and hunted down any military units spotted. Soon, after close to 8 hours of waiting, the Steel Guards moved in for the kill. The remaining mechanized infantry of the Latvian Military had holed itself up in buildings, blocks away from the Latvian Freedom Monument. The fighting left several buildings of Old Riga in ruin with the Mechanized Division of the Steel Guards taking the brunt of that casualties. The Latvians did not surrender, which seemed to anger some of the soldiers, which led to the destruction of the Freedom Monument, similarly to what was done by a statue of Saddam Hussein by Americans in Baghdad.

Back at home, the ever growing Narodnaya Volya party has again given the Russian government much praise for its work in the Baltics. Only Lithuania stands in the way of the liberation of all Baltic-Russians, and their downfall should prove to be swift. This move has even ushered in the creation of an army purely to maintain the Baltic regions, the 11th Guards Army. The army, which includes Russians from Estonia, has already shown it's ruthless potential during the arrest and eviction of anti-Russians all over Estonia. They have been assembled near the Russian border, and are being prepared for a move into Russia proper. Prime Minister Lelyushenko stated that Latvia, like what was said about Estonia, would become and official oblast in three months time. However, unlike in Estonia, a governor has not been mentioned yet, and no one is sure whether they will be Latvian or Russian. However, what is known is that said governor would have to deal with a people who have been notorious for their(cont. 2A)

ESTONIAN-RUSSIANS LIBERATED, TALLINN CAPTURED!!

Mechanized troops cross the bridge into Narva​

On February 12th at approximately 13:30, the 5th Guards Tank Army invaded Estonia by way of the city of Narva. The Russians of Narva were pleased to see the invasion, but carried on with their daily tasks, as if they were already part of the Russian Federation. As the force moved westward, gunships of the 20th Air Corps began to engage Estonian forces just east of the town of Rakvere, which lead to the enemy's retreat west toward Tallinn. The Steel Guards finally were engaged in the outskirts of the Estonian capital by remnants of the Estonian army, which were fighting from old WWII fortifications, which did prove somewhat valuable. The headlong charge into the puny Estonian forces proved successful, but at the cost of portions of the army's mechanized infantry. However, once the defenders were crushed and Russian units entered the capital region, the Estonians immediately surrendered. Units of the 5th Guards Tank Army were then ordered to arrest the members of the government, but to no avail as most of the parliament including PM Mart Laar had escaped south into Latvia.

Back at home, Ms. Bodnieva, head of Narodnaya Volya applauded the government for its effort to reunite Baltic-Russians with the Federation. A rally for the party held in St. Petersburg was full of banners and signs saying "One Down, Two To Go!" Prime Minister Lelyushenko, in a statement to the public, said that Estonia will be formed into a formal oblast in 3 months time, and will be able to elect its local legislature then. Already, a name has been mentioned regarding Estonia's governor, a strong pro-Russian politician from Narva, Igor Andropov. He is an unknown in Russia, but he apparently organized many rallies in Narva against the Estonian government, including the riots before the invasion. In a statement to the press, Andropov told reporters "If I am put in charge, I will make sure the fascists here don't question the new government and the Russian state". With the fall of Estonia, the city of Tallinn has been locked down to help in the hunt for ex-political figures and the border with Latvia has been closed to prevent Estonians from fleeing south toward(cont. 4B)

RUSSIANS ABROAD TO BE RUSSIANS AT HOME?​

With politicians, generals, businessmen and ordinary citizens arguing, even fighting, about big issues such as Belarus, many so called "smaller issues" were unable to get a word in edgewise...until now. A small group has managed to grasp the nation's attention and has begun to preach a different, but in no means unheard of, issue. The group, Narodnaya Volya; the idea, Pochvennichestvo. Narodnaya Volya has always pushed this issue, but since the outbreak of WWIII, the political party faded back into obscurity, until now. Yelena Bodnieva, the new leader of the party, has pushed that the Russian state is not one of physical boundaries, but of cultural ones. In a massive rally in St. Petersburg, she proclaimed "we are not the only Russians on this Earth! Many are trapped in lands both near and far, persecuted for being who they are, forced to try and become something they are not and should never be! They are under the foot of governments which have, for many years been enemies of the state, sometimes for the entire history of the Russian Federation! I say, screw Belarus, they are not a problem! Estonia! Latvia! Lithuania! Those are the places our soldiers should march into, to liberate the Russian people there! For God's sake, Narva is mere kilometers away from this spot, they could very well hear us! They are the same as us, those Russians, and they are so close, but are unable to be here because of the damned fascists in Tallinn! Let us go, brothers and sisters, and free our brethren!!" Many of the people bickering about other issues have become focused on this new issue, and this is especially prevalent in Parliament.

During a private meeting with President Putin in his winter retreat near Sochi, Bodnieva was able to get the president's support to liberate the Russian people of foreign lands. The 5th Guards Tank Army is already in the Tver region, so a possible deployment into the Baltics would not only be possible, but could be done within in a week's time. General Grigory Kamensky, the commander of the Steel Guards said "a Baltic excursion is entirely possible, and could be done well enough with the forces currently available that the entire region could be securely in our hands within a few months". Across the Estonian border, the Narva Russians, whose homes are visible from the Russian side of the border, seem ecstatic about the possibility of being part of a Baltic Russian controlled state. These Estonian-Russians account for nearly 28% of Estonia's population. On the other hand, the Estonians, who have been fiercely against the Russian state since before the break up of the Soviet Union, have stated that the Russians are treated fairly, but refuse to be productive in Estonian society and are refusing to learn the language. The Estonian PM, Mart Laar, a well known anti-Communist and anti-Soviet, has warned that any Russian setting foot on Estonian soil would be met with "every ounce of resistance the Estonian man can muster". Intelligence reports show that Estonians have begun constructing fortifications south of Lake Pskov and north into Kunda, since rioters in Narva and surrounding areas would fight against Estonian military(cont. 3D)

Economy on the Rise
President Sawyer has released, with approval from Congress, several Fortune 500 companies from the National Sector to the Private Sector. With this act, companies are now allowed to manage their own companies without influence from the government, already several CEO's have applauded this move and the US Economy jumped up in the world currency. The US Dollar is now stronger than many currencies around the world, although still lacking compared to other major currencies. With this new act passed, other companies are petitioning to become Private, including many transportation companies. The future of America looks strong.

US Loosens Control Over Companies
President Sawyer's first act as President was to approve an act by Congress to Privatize companies that were seized by the National Government during the turbulent times following World War 3 and the ensuing dismantling of the United States Armed Forces. CEOs nation-wide fly to Washington D.C to petition for their company to be privatized next. After receiving the names of 2 transportation companies that privatized, we are glad to report that they have great plans for their companies, they are the Union Pacific and BNSF railroads, their respective CEO's have informed US Weekly that they will be focusing on growing and increasing their profits, including but not limited to, a passenger service similar to the bankrupt Amtrak that went out of business following the end of World War 3 and the collapse of the economy. This project is being funded by Union Pacific and BNSF and the tracks will be seperate from the Freight lanes used by the respective railroads, the first track will connect Washington D.C with Los Angeles, and from there they plan to connect Chicago and many major cities of America, including an ambitious project to connect Alaska with the Mainland. Such a project, if pulled off could be very rewarding and secure the future of the United States for years financially. The spokesperson for Union Pacific has asked the unemployed population to report to the nearest UP station and inquire to a job as a track layer, they will be fed and provided housing by UP and BNSF if they accept the job. They will also be paid well for their work.

Background: After the defeat of the African National Congress party in the 2012 election over the issue of World War Three, in which South Africa Support America's forces, which suffered almost entire annihiliation by tactical nuclear weapons of mass destruction at sea. Over the next five years numerous parties formed and collasped, finally, with the support of 4 Parties, Kopano became accepted president of South Africa. Seeing the rise of despotism, he sought to bring true democracy to southern africa.

Kopano is of the Radical Democrats party, who ask what the population wants, then liberally tries to act on it. Recent reports show most africans are happy their own country, with gold reserves from the mines against inflation, was among the best economies in the world, but was scared of rising despots arround their lands.

Their strongest ally, the Industrial Liberals, who seek industrialization and furthur expansion of South Africa, they are eager for new territories and will aid the radicals due to the people asking for more and more jobs, who they provide.

The Socialist Commune of South Africa support them only because of the Social Programs that the people support. They also support more regional tax collection: one region's tax pays for most of that region's needs, and extra was used for overall infrastructure or the military.

Finally, the United Peoples Union supports the respect of the different groups of Africa, whom most of South Africa agrees with. Even though using English or Zulu was used as unofficial government language, they receive much funding to vote for more funding and to provide translators for the army, the industries, and businessmen.

At the news of reopening of the Lesothian mines, the South African Exchange shot higher as companies greatly increased their value with cheep raw materials and new shops in our states. The South African Dollar even exceeded the value of the dollar as the unemployed are quickly employed in heavy industry, as well as a renewed Jewlering sector, and a growing medication industry.

Heroics of the 1st Artillary Battalion and the 1st Flying Commandos In the Battle of Swaziland!
They earned a total of 12 Presidential Southern Crosses of Military Excellence and 30 more other minor awards!!
The bravery of the 1st Artillary Battalion was heroic, charging in with their tow artillary and mobile artillary, followed by support infantry. Moving and nuetralizing they seized the day with a vicotry for the SAU! Elections, due to current violence is schedualed for August, as Swazilanic Volenteers filled missing positions in the division that saved them from their tyrant.

Lesotho's Despot Deposed! Citizens Liberated!
We have liberated the oppresed and unhappy peoples of Lesotho from the 'Monarchist' despot ruling with wrongs! As General Smith Renaz says, 'The true face lies within.' With the Liberation of Lesotho, our borders can reopen from their despot's dispicable act of cutting off trade and work for more than 40% of his people's workforce. Also we can rebuild the diamond mines and gold mines, and use their rebuilt factories so they can start to help themselves. By March 1st, they will elect their own assembly and governer and join our Union as a new state.

The Leader of the Lesotho Unionists, Conzia Williamson says, 'We finally have the freedom to go to school without paying high fees... to work in a factory and not a farm, and to return to our lives as freed men. We thank you!'.

The King will be tried of despotism, ignoration of duties, and corruption.

We will Rearm our Military
Stated the President about the South African Military, who, like all others, was reduced the the few most specialized regiments, Kopano, saying that the bombing of the UN ship after the riot in Hauge that the old age of 'Peace' was over, 'Peace had lead to the reorganization of Slavery, of the rise of Despots. Possible Anglo-French War

Tension between the UK and France are at an all-time high after the French Government once again refused to compensate the British Army for the monumental losses sustained in the Third World War defending France from invasion. With the political tension rising, public tension rose too and the more riots have taken place in every major UK city with mobs hunting down and lynching French men and women in the streets. The Metropolitan Police Force have yet to on the string of incidences but we do have unconfirmed reports that men in riot gear assisted in some of these lynchings. Both the French Consulate and Embassy guards in Edinburgh and London joined in the riots opening fire on the marauding mobs. This disperse the crowds in those two cities and saved dozens of French lives. The riots are still ongoing as of 9 o'clock today. The French Government claims that the British Government sanctioned, even ordered, the attacks on their citizens in the UK and demands the British Government immediately evacuates all French citizens or persons of French origin from the UK and allows the French police to investigate the riots fully. Our government argues that this is unreasonable and that British police are more than capable of investigating British crime and reassure the French Government that all French citizens are being evacuated. The French Government ordered the 1er RPIMa, the French equivalent to the SAS, to prepare to launch a counter-terrorism mission on British soil. As of yet France has not attacked but the 'counter-terrorism mission' is understood as an assault on London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Belfast, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Bristol and other large cities and towns to disperse or kill the rioters and extract French citizens. The Guards have been mobilised in response and preparing to embark on amphibious assault craft to invade France. Stay close to a T.V or radio to receive further news and government announcements.

1st Army of Brazil will march on French Guiana. The artillery will pound any defenders. Then the rest of the army will invade and take the country “liberating” it from French oppression.

Turn 2:
Buy 3 infantry division, which will form the 2nd Army of Brazil.
1 infantry division from the 1st Army will garrision French Guiana.
The rest of the 1st Army will invade Suriname. Artillery will pound their military before the 1st Armored and Mechanized Infantry Divisions drive along the coast and capture the capital of Paramaribo.
The 2nd Army will invade Guyana. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th infantry Divisions will take out all military bases and resisting soliders before advancing and taking the capital of Georgetown.

President Loses Popularity to New Candidate- April 2017

Even after the conquest of the three Guyanas during the last few months President da Silva has been criticized by war-hawks in the Congress for the heavy losses suffered in the campaigns and for not continuing the success and attempting to unite the rest of South America under the Brazilian flag to restore stability to the continent. With elections coming up in only a few months time, a candidate has arisen to challenge the incumbent president. General Panzo Fernando, commander of the famed 1st Army, has announced that he will be running for president. General Fernando has already won much support on his platform of continued Brazilian conquest to restore stability and economic prosperity to South America. Perhaps to combat this threat to his reelection, the President has announced the creation of a Brazilian air force, and has asked Congress to authorize an invasion of Venezula, to restore peace and prosperity to the country.


1st Army of Brazil Mobilizes- January 2017

As nations around the world start to bring back their militaries Brazil seems to be following the trend. Two weeks ago Congress passed a law for the creation of a new Brazilian military to “protect and establish democracy”. Now with the creation of the new 1st Army of Brazil the first steps to a full fledge military are beginning. In only a short time recruiters were able to gather one infantry, armored, and mechanized infantry division. New factories have been opened to create the weapons needed to support this new army, leading to an increase in jobs across the nation. This new army will be lead by General Fernando. General Fernando was in charge of the 9th Army before the demilitarization across the globe occurred. Now he has been the logical choice to lead this new army, being one of the most decorated commanders in Brazil. This new army comes just in time for the president’s proposed invasion of French Guiana and they are expected to head the assault.
