about labeling opinions one doesn't like

If you follow my pet theory(so not unlikely to be crap ), you track status. If you are tracking status you follow the money. If you follow the money you find interests, and where you find divergent interests you find different people. The opinions are pretty much the baseline theological excuse. Unless they're fundamentally decent opinions, those are in fact real and sometimes those stick. Threshing and winnowing for them is labor intense.

... and annoying sjw types.
If you're using "sjw" as a pejorative, then you're probably not noticing the signs of fascism because it just appears like normal thinking to you.

Kind of like how you don't hear your own accent.

When it comes to SJWs, their fascism is always very noticable.

Nah. It's super easy to miss. Labels labels.

Credit where it's due. The use of the word "accent" in this post seems actually perfect.

Regarding the "it's" in the post you quote. Apply it to the first to the first label it referenced, then the second?

Techno slaves chirping about revolution is hysterical.

Just as funny as the French peasants using farming tools MADE UNDER FEUDALISM to storm the Bastille

The nazi party of Germany hasn't been active for a while.

Lots of people are called nazis without basis. If you think speech rights should be stripped based on that allegation, I welcome you to first strip your own free speech rights.

I was joking. Fascists protecting free speech?

The Bastille wasn't guarded with nukes and drones.

Keep dreaming and consuming, dude. :D

Well, let it never be said I'm incapable of laughing at myself

You are at least aware, and able to laugh.

Traits I can respect. :)

Doesn't mean I really agree with your take though. A basic tenet of Marxism is that the capitalists create the infrastructure for their own destruction. I think that has largely played out over the last two centuries, but only rarely through the means of overt political revolution.

I don't agree with you either. However, you will grow up and recognise the general hilarity of your marxist LARPing.

So you're laboring under a completely false understanding of fascism, and there are 70,000 children in concentration camps and you appear more concerned with containing the containment of fascism than with containing fascism.

I confess myself... disappointed.
You don’t think a disposition put 70,000 kids in a concentration camp? I guess I see the problem as worse than you...

Many people may be more inclined to support the presence of kids in concentration camps by their dispositions, but I think it's pretty reductive to say that fascism is a personal disposition.

But idk I really do feel disappointed that you don't evince much concern about the fact that there are fascists running wild all over the country, including quite a few in uniforms issued by the US government who have been empowered to brutalize some of the most vulnerable people in society in a way that far outstrips the worst excesses that can be attributed to "the left" or "antifa" (and which, moreover, should be considered far more dangerous because it is done under the aegis of the law rather than as illegal acts of protest). I suppose to some extent this is because there are already a bunch of people on here decrying that and maybe you feel that you don't need to add your voice to the chorus, but still.

Spoken like a true revolutionary.

I suppose there's irony in the fact that I don't see myself as much of a "revolutionary" and I also have a certain amount of disdain for tankies who like to LARP the Soviet Union and pretend they're doing anything to substantively fight capitalism by cancelling people on social media.

Yeah but Lexicus, we're all the same, completely devoid of free thought and beholden only to the most extreme caricatures of what the mainstream (and right wingers) perceive as leftists.

Y'know, that thing conservatives and other such right-wingers hate being done to them. Imagine my shock :D

You strike me as someone unsatisfied with the world at large, and is still looking for a philosophy.
Which is fine and normal, we have all been there, and many still are in certain aspects.

As for forcing people off social media, it is an act of oppressive fascist mischief.
I might disagree with people online, but I cherish the opportunity to hear them.
