Otherwise the religion is founded in one of your cities automatically.
 
Computer Factory has the same problem that I reported with Power Lines.
  • Computer Factory is supposed to be available at Computers tech.
  • Computer Factory requires Semiconductors resource.
  • Semiconductors resource requires Semiconductors tech.
  • Therefore, you can't really build Computer Factory until Semiconductors tech.

Please either move Computer Factory to Semiconductors tech or drop the Semiconductors resource requirement from Computer Factory. I favor the latter, but either would work.
 
In two games in the late Ancient or early Classical Era I got a message that Barbarians built Valley of the Kings and started their GA. It must be a bug because in both cases:

- I had one of the required Wonders and the other one either had not been built or was built by someone else
- it was not listed in the 'Top 5 Cities' tab at least in the second game it was, but I cannot reach this city yet (at some other continent)

Didn't even make it to the loading screen.

Went to load the mod, Civ IV did its usual screen flickering magic, then I waited on the desktop for a bit, then the screen went black for a second, then.... nothing, after a while my PC stopped making the awful disc drive whir that eats into my brain, so, y'know, bonus in everything.

EDIT: Fixed it! Turns out I had one of my more spectacularly moronic moments and forgot to patch the game... don't judge me, I have a scatter brain!

I was actually thinking of having like maybe a vacuum tube resource.
 
This was in V26 but it might not be fixed in v27.

Maori went through a revolution and spawned Tibet as a new civ. Now the tibet has a minor status with peace to everyone but it also has writing so it seems to be in peace forever with no way to declare war on Tibet. I had to go to worldbuilder and remove Tibet's writing tech and give it back to them so now they are functioning normally.

I don't know how or which point in the game this revolution of Maori happened. I just crossed paths with tibet later and noticed this.
 
Two issues in my game.

With the svn 4294, my gold income decreases about -400 gold. I have 46 positive and update. Now i got -384 by turn.

Other strange stuff is the tattoo hut, i cant buil even with the requirements ok. I have dye, i have trading post. Thanks.

What speed are you playing at? Gold production was tied to game speed in a revision a few days ago, and at the two slowest speeds it was reduced greatly. I play at Eternity, and although I haven't updated my working copy yet I'm prepared for this reduction for when I do (which is why I archive all revisions just in case something gets changed I don't like so that I can easily go back to an older version instead of scrapping save games).

EDIT---I just played a sample few turns with 4294, and I had no change at all (though I'm only on about turn ~500, so that may be a factor).

Yesterday i play and dont have this gold issue. Well i will see what i do.
 
There is something off with income and costs in my game.... I am on minus per each turn like -105 and even if I move the tech spending to 0 I have -63......early game and few cities , not a lot of units ...... how to operate in such hostile conditions?

I did a modifier recalc on the latest SVN and it went from -63 to +100, so I don't know what was going on, but that would be how you fix it.

Be prepared for many players that use the slowest game speeds to think they have a problem. They are just experiencing what it was like for Epic and Normal. They'll adapt.

I'm waiting for SO and DH to chime in. I'm curious how much it impacts their play as they (well DH in particular) always seemed to be swimming in Gold.

I know, but his issue had to have been something else, as it reverted to more reasonable numbers after a recalc in 4297. Also I'm lobbying to have the extra upkeep on traits revisited, regardless of how much gold we have now the spread on those is way too much to be balanced.

The reason i dont chime in on alot of stuff, is because i dont really play like any of you'll do, i test test test, then i go back a few game and test again a different way, so its back and forth, and doing different things each time . . and besides "sometimes" when i do say things, people take it as "that is the absolute" when i am just saying stuff. Then alot of the regular people won't ask/say other stuff to keep the ideas/suggestions going.
btw the only real difference i an seeing is that if the slider is at 100% its always a -(negative) number but moving the slider down even two gives +(positive) results) , there hows that!! . . . SO

On topic: Have a TXT that needs to be fixed for Fossils.

I did latest SVN update and it ask for recalculation but no change at all....... can I force recalculation again? What is the key combination if I may ask?

Ctrl-Shift-T. And I don't know why it wouldn't work from the popup. If it isn't working for you on SVN 4297 there may be a different bug in the recalc somewhere, because it worked for me.
 
Viewports CTD, again i clicked on the "next city turn arrows" and poof CTD, SVN 4294

You mean the arrows in the city screen? Can you post an image with the arrow ringed so I'm sure were talkig about the same ones please.
