TV?

My buddy at work makes fun of me because I don't watch tv and I don't have cable. He thinks I live in the stone age (my cell phone is also a prepaid- like 1/2G  ) I haven't watched tv (although we do have a tv at work I occasionally watch bits and pieces of) in years. I don't even watch tv on my computer (although I did watch some ST TNG episodes not too long ago). I know they have hulu, but there really doesn't seem to be anything worth watching on tv anymore.

The short answer is I'm too addicted to my computer to watch tv. I just don't have enough time in the day to do anything else.

I don't watch TV.

I like 90s sci-fi and some comedy shows including Community, 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, and Big Bang Theory.

Basketball and football games. Some British shows (The Thick of It and Sherlock). Sometimes Futurama and South Park, if they're on. Assorted movies if I like them.

So, not a whole lot.

I restarted watching TV this year. That is, I watch one show a week. NCIS. That is all. So I guess the kind of shows I like to watch are East Coast US (I do not like or watch NCIS: LA) Naval Criminal Investigative shows.

Like others here, I don't have a tv, but that doesn't mean I don't I watch many tv-shows. I watch all things sci-fi basically. And british comedy.

My TV viewing currently consists of
Football (especially when Collingwood is playing)
Good News Week
Futurama
The Amazing Race
Skins (or at least, I was watching it til season 5 finished)

Big Bang Theory
Seinfeld
Modern Family
Outsourced
The Middle
Everybody Loves Raymond
According to Jim

I mostly just watch sporing events, but I make exceptions for my weekly viewing of How I Met Your Mother, and the occasional 30 Rock episode.

The thing I like about NCIS is that they usually do okay on DC-area geography. None of that 24 "Washington Center Red Line Metro station" or "swimming up to the White House in scuba gear" crap. It helps immersion a lot.

I watch sports, The Amazing Race and for wholly tawdry reasons, I like watching Survivor.

I've also got a weakness for watching Law and Order original series episodes sometimes.

And I'm watching HBO's Game of Thrones.

Aww, it was silly and improbable, but you have to admit, watching Jack Bauer beat the ever loving crap out of everyone in his way was damn cool...(at least for a season or two)

I just had to post this. It's from cracked.com. I actually do like the computer girl, she's cute. But these couple of clips show the weaknesses of the writers.

I wish they would skip the hacking, and just show her boobs. I'd watch the show more.

Here's the rest of the article. It's hilarious. http://www.cracked.com/article_19160_8-scenes-that-prove-hollywood-doesnt-get-technology.html
