Really? If you search through the threads you'll found people who claimed the Trajan picture was fake because they were unable to find it in the video KNOWING it's there. The pic appears for several frames and requires brightness adjustments to see what's on it.

No offence, but sashibo2, you're just register today and only post about the "leaks". I don't mean the leaks must be fake due to this, but it would reduce the leaks' credibility.

I meant the actual find in the developer video. That was no hoax. Could have been on purpose but was not a hoax, it was there.

No offense taken, I lurk here but never made an account before this, and even I'm not sure if these are authentic or not - I have reason to believe they are but for all I know they could be fake as well. Skepticism is always healthy.

Yeah, these "leaks" are very fishy to me. I remember the whole Henry VIII hoax, and it's enough to have me skeptical. We have absolutely no way of knowing if sashibo2 is telling the truth or not. The fact that this is coming from a "cousin of a friend" is even more suspicious.
At best, I'm taking this with a grain of salt, as much as I'd like it to be a real leak.

If that is the case then there's no issues with the Reiter's placement. Just tie it to some tech that comes between stirrups and military science like gunpowder, printing press or metal casting.

They're the civilization I'm most excited about!
And since there's literally no rhyme or reason to the order of the civilization reveals, I might as well vote for them!
I was voting India because religion, but it's just as possible that Sumer or even Kongo get announced next, by the looks of it! So why not go for the one I want the most?

As for the leaks, assuming they're real, they don't really prove anything. Rome, in particular, we already knew was in the game, and Sumer too due to the Leader Bingo Card. And, of course, there's going to be a video for each one of them, at several stages of being completed. By now, it's possible that all title cards for the video are complete or almost finished, so Rome and Sumer could very well be Spain and Poland and nothing would be different.
But they did make me even more excited for Sumer!

Yeah, and as TPangolin points out, this leak looks a lot like the picture of Trajan we have already seen. So, it seems quite plausible this Rome picture is real, and therefore that Sumer is too. This would disprove theories about fitting Civs on the board based on Gilgamesh leading Ur.
But, if this is real, would the posters friend have wanted him to post it here? Surely if they work at Firaxis, this could likely be awkward? Unless the poster in fact works at Firaxis, and was meant to drop these hints, so that is why he only just set up the account here. Or, maybe Zwei is right, and this is a hoax, but I'd hope people wouldn't really bother hoarding something like this.
