Yeah, and as TPangolin points out, this leak looks a lot like the picture of Trajan we have already seen. So, it seems quite plausible this Rome picture is real, and therefore that Sumer is too. This would disprove theories about fitting Civs on the board based on Gilgamesh leading Ur.

But, if this is real, would the posters friend have wanted him to post it here? Surely if they work at Firaxis, this could likely be awkward? Unless the poster in fact works at Firaxis, and was meant to drop these hints, so that is why he only just set up the account here. Or, maybe Zwei is right, and this is a hoax, but I'd hope people wouldn't really bother hoarding something like this.

If they were "deliberately" leaked it accomplished nothing, it doesn't show anything new because if after both Catherine and Scythia anybody still does't believe the Bingo leak you're in serious denial

Well, it gives the frenzied crowd a few extra scraps to chew on. It's okay marketing.

It's also why I doubt it's a hoax. Faked images of Rome and Sumer don't change the fact that Rome and Sumer will be in the game.

Compare this to the fake Henry screen, which would have confirmed the then unconfirmed alternate leaders as well as adding a leader not on the sheet, throwing a wrench in all the theories :p

I'm also leaning towards real. But if the source really is just some guy in the art department, it doesn't mean much for whether these are the ones we see next or not. Firaxis could have a small backlog of videos ahead of these two.

I'm not sure. I didn't do the math, but I'm not sure there are enough weeks for all the civ's first looks?

8 civs (of 19) left. 11 weeks to go. I kind of doubt the will do First Looks for the DLC until after release (pre-order bonus excluded).

Actually there's around 9 weeks left actually, and we have seen 9 civs. The only question remains where the Aztec fall (Are they 18th or 19th civ)

Although I expect them to reelease them earlier, mostly because around a month or few weeks chances are that the Achievement List will be released and show up on the Steam Database/Library.

Well, today was a disappointment...
Welp, time to pack up! See you next week guys!

Well, when was it said that every civilization in the game will have a First Look? Maybe some will be surprise until release.
Or even assuming every civilization will have a first look, maybe there will be more events (like streams) where they announce two or three in a row.

As I said, who knows what is Firaxis' advertisement plan for this game? :p

EDIT: Or maybe we do have enough weeks for every other civilization. :dunno:

It is possible that with Gamescom next week that Firaxis is focused on preparing for that instead of releasing a second first look video.
