Ease of access - don't have to go buy a hard copy - and no shipping fees. Also a reason I like GamersGate for Paradox games.Porque?

It's better than Rome on the historicity front, to be honest. Three Roman "houses" plus the Senate broke that game beyond all repair.
All the time. If you ever read my "Titanomachia" timeline, it's basically all EB, all the time. I swear I've gotten better at Hellenistic history since then.Ever play the Europa Barbarorum mod?

)It is pretty excellent, in spite of its crashes.Ever play the Europa Barbarorum mod?
So does anyone have Empire:Total war? I'd be up for a match or two once I figure things out. (or maybe even before then)

Not really. Basically all the Greeks ended up being the same old, same old. All of the barbarians were also same old, same old, except for the Germans which were basically Greeks. Every faction's best infantry unit was the "copycat Roman legionary". And the Roman units had ridiculously amped stats and ran over everything. On the fun front Rome was best 3d Total war, factions felt unique.
