Since statute 36b(xii), they should now be refered to as Bearded Warriors.

I don't think we're discussing the same thing, Darkening.. :s

aaaaand that's why I was playing along.

I think I went overboard with my Asian-themed Sekai and anywaysss that kind of fantasy isn't appealing to me right now. If I come up with something new, it'll be something historical fiction. :)
How about your NESes before that?

REVIVE YOUR SPACE NES!

;)

To be honest though, I'm having trouble keeping up with my current NESing commitments as it is, and I don't think my interest in the Kaiserreich scenario is as strong as my investment in other NESes right now.

I've been thinking of doing a revival of my Kaiserreich NES, considering that I now have loads of free time on my hands, but I'm not sure how interested other NESers would be in such a project. Thoughts?

Revise your FS!

Yes, remember that big fancy fresh start map I made for you Carmen? It's been the bane of 3 NESes now, ready to give it another go? ;)

I'm still heartbroken about this, btw.

I had lots of fun making those rules, and of course the original Sekai was a lot of fun. But that kinda stuff was a lot of work for me to keep going. By the way, where is the original Sekai thread? I used to look through it for nostalgia, but can't seem to find it any more.

If I do fantasy again, I'd want it to be strictly human-only factions. I'd love to do something fantasy-feudal set in a 'Japan' in which players are daimyo competing for the position of shogun. Maybe a fictional map that is basically a fictional Japan - in keeping with the Sekai tradition of people creating their own pre-existing nations and histories from the beginning. Or it could just be based off of the real map of Japan with real daimyo. Starting in either 1560 or 1573 would be interesting. But with this more realistic start, I'd still want to bend things a bit and allow people freedom outside of what historically happened. Hm.

Sadly, when my computer died, I lost more than just the LINESII map- I lost the map I made for carmen510, Ninja Dude, and someone else. If carmen could give it to you, that would be great. :)
