NK, you could post that or similar in the Site Feedback thread, and then the IOTers and mods would see it too.

Daft, I vote that if you use a Strangereal world, you use the actual Strangereal world instead of an Earth expy with names similar enough to the real ones to make it disconcerting that they're not the real ones. :p

North Carolina is a terrible little CI moralist-style dunghole and I encourage those of you who can to never visit us. If you are currently within the state, and have the wherewithal and option of leaving, get out now. Fly, you fools!

Where are you in NC? I 've there for almost 20 years and while it does have some peculiarities, I found it a pretty nice place.

What the christ is Eminem doing in that GIF?

You know what, I think that is my new favourite gif ever. No idea in what situations I can use it in, but seriously, look at that. Thats beautiful.

I live in Raleigh. My own personal experience is that NC is a nice, fairly progressive and on-the-ball place to live, but Raleigh is the exception to the rule in a state that is still fairly rural and, outside of its cities, overwhelmingly votes Republican. My parents have been here since 1982, or so I recall.

I have a friend in Raleigh organizing a walkathon. Go find the organizer (hint, highschooler) and tell him you know me :)

Well I lived outside of Chapel Hill, west of Hillsborough. I do think that the state has turned to the right in recent years, but the Triangle seems to still be staunchly liberal. At least I hope so. I know that the state has grown significantly in the 20 years that I have been gone, but my daughter and her fiancé live in Carrboro and we kinda keep up.

That could be a lot of people, unless your friend happens to go to the illustrious Jesse O. Sanderson high school :p

Lets see if I can get more concrete info. Unless you would like me to ok you specifics :p.

He wrote and published a book called the Hallix.

He was in the booth with Musberger and Herbstreit during the Wolverines-Domers game this weekend. It was hilariously awkward.

+1 Like to Symphony and North King's comments.

That's so cool daft!

Is it safe to say the not Germans aren't slaughterin not Jews in this game?

@Terrance I'd like it to be focused on the warfare, without too much moral torture for those on the 'axis'. Concentration camps exist (on both sides) and people disappear, the full extent of crimes may not emerge until after the war, etc.

Why not have a smaller basic map in the updates, and a larger map provided for those that want to see it (for download or viewing on another page).

That's an idea. The problem is, in my experience with using sprites to represent units on a map, is that things can get crowded out very quickly. Everywhere has to be big enough to handle a potential concentration of forces and still be clear about what is going on. Unless as you said, there are mini maps and maps for specific fronts.

@Dachs that's interesting, but too far from our world? I like the idea of a not-europe and not-ww2 nations. So we can play a ww2 scenario without getting tangled up historical accuracy or lack thereof.

^^ I should probably start a pre-thread or move this to New NESes, but thanks for the feedback so far :salute:

EDIT: how does Google Docs work for sharing a map - care to take a look? https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_1Vj0-QWctdcUFmX2hZaU9HSmc/edit
