lmfao, I didn't see the leadup and just read that and I thought "damn, that's some hardcore politics," because I was sure it was a Afghani protest song.

(In my Defense I still think Legionnaires Lament is that, and it is similarly out of context historically, but again, I suspect allegory)

.gifs in signatures can get really irritating, especially when someone has multiple posts on a page. They're distracting and, unfortunately, get old really quickly, no matter how amusing (which yours is) they are. So i don't think that rule's going to change, although I wouldn't mind slightly larger or maybe animated avatars.

I actually prefered the smaller avatars we used to have. I like small, and because of their tinity, most people sticked with the same avatar size. It's not like that anymore: We've gotten room to breathe, and more often than not we don't need the 100x100 size.

I'd most like a larger filesize allotted for avatars. This site has the lowest filesize cap of any site I browse. With just 2 kb more, most png's wouldn't have a problem being uploaded like they do now.

10 KB would pretty much cover anything you could create, but most pngs could be made to fit within 8 KB. I know when I run PNG crush, the PNG's are almost always under 8 KB, but few are under 6KB and so I then have to start discarding colors.
