Yeah, uh, anyone who didn't see that das and the Ottomans were the greatest possible threat was silly. I was anticipating another turn or two to finish off the Finns and the rebellions before he struck though. Such is life.

I saw that as well, but wanted to deal with France so that they couldn't stab us and the HRE in the back when the Ottomans came. It was blatant that they would otherwise do so.

Reasonable enough, however it took rather longer than it should have and left everybody rather weakened as a result, with the subordinates of most governments (particularly the HRE) now actively discouraging further war. The results are rather like half a dozen on one side and six on the other in a way, at least to me.

Regarding DisNES, the whole French thing was waiting to happen. Trying to be friends with silver is always dangerous: he had to be destroyed. You're all lucky it didn't take as long as it did in NES2 V to kill him.

Generally agree with silver, but sometimes one couldn't but expect some notorious people to do something they're notorious for. Plus France was a natural enemy of Aragon, Savoy and HRE. Iberia and Kalmar, I agree, are more weird.
