So...

Whay I syour sig/avatar/location the way it is. Every One has a small story behind it. Some obvious (CivGeneral likes Ghost in the Shell) Some not so much Whomp (like Kiss Pandas?)

Mine Is an ode to Einstien a genius if there ever was one. Viva La Relativity all the way and then an ode to Hitchikers Guide to The Galaxy and tehn a cool site and an explanation for why I am on CivFanatics in my sig.

Let's see. My avatar is Bob Dylan, cuz he is awesome, and my title is re-iterating how awesome he is, and what he does for a living.

My location used to be "the crapulous summer", because I love the word 'crapulous' and it applies to my summers. But summer is over now, and I've changed it to "two inches from the falling hammer", cuz that is pretty much what school is like this year.

My sig is a quote from Brideshead Revisited. It's funny, geddit? In blue it also has a Bob Dylan line but I'm probably going to delete that soon.

(I learned 'crapulous', by the way, from Brideshead.)

My avatar is something I made using Blender (a 3d renderer). Raytracing is a method to render something, it usually gives the most realistic results. My sig says "Ethnocentrism is baaad!!!" because it is. I might change it to some other advice that could be lived by.

My avatar is a duck (I'll change it soon, so if you read this in 2 years and say "what the fudge? what it that duk thing?", you may be normal) because I wanted it to be something funny (like the dove on a nuke explosion), my sig is just a big ad for my website and my username is for many things. Tyguy is for 'Ti Guillaume. Master is because someone was already subscribed as "tyguy". Location, title and personal infos are linked to my avatar.

My avatar is my family crest, it's the coat of arms for the Irish clan O'Callaghan, and bears the legend Fidus et Audax.

My signature is, uncreatively, a chauvinist Family Guy quote.

My title, King of the Eyesores, is from the song New Slang by The Shins. And if you'd turn to me like a/gull takes to the wind/well I would jump for my dreams/and I would dance like the king of the eyesores/and the rest of our lives we could fare well".

My location is the name of an absolutely fantastic album by Modest Mouse: The Moon and Antarctica.

 

[Irish Caesar]

The avatar is Buzz, the mascot of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets from Atlanta, Georgia.

Although I'm American and not Irish, (about 90% Irish heritage, but a citizen of the USA), I use the name "Irish Caesar" and therefore need some Irish Gaelic in the sig. Translated, it reads "May the cat eat Georgia and may the cat be eaten by the devil," a reference to the Georgia Tech chant "To Hell with Georgia."

Much of my ancestry is from County Galway, hence the King of Galway title.

Location: I live in America. I live in Albany, NY to be more specific, but saying America is good enough.

Sig: I was talking to stalin006 online(again) when someone said that in the history channel so I put it in my sig.

I was on the J-Thunder boards on Gamefaqs many months back and everyone was part of the zionist council and i decidced to be the zionist minister of world banking.

I made that quiz a couple months after joining cfc. Been in my sig ever since.

My avatar is based off of a subculture that's growing in the NES forum; hard to explain, but in essence das created massive polar bear armies harassing human players to explain anything he forgot in game updates. I thought this was a cop out, and created otters. 'Nuff said.

My title? Just a reflection of real life.

My sig? Just a particularly well worded example of my thoughts about life.

My location? It's a play on my real life location, and a joke road sign.

Well my avatar is just another theme off of my original. My location signature and title are all just complements to my avatar theme. I suppose I could expand on the history of my avatar next weekend when I go home and have access to the full database of avatars

Title: I won the Survivor Championship here at CFC. We probably should have a new one, but, until than, its cool that I won it.

Avatar: I'm a pretty big fan of Super Mario.

Location: It has to do with the first ISDG. I've been meaning to change it to Zarigueya, which was the city of the Possums, but I forget to do so. Elucidia would be the nation as a whole. I suppose I could use my actual location, but what fun would that be? Plus, not many people are all too familiar with Delaware geography anyway.

Sig: The stuff at the top is Creation and Customization stuff. The rest is a very cool moment in Philadelphia sports history when Emit Smith of the Cowboys is stopped - twice - doing the exact same thing on fourth down. The call is by Marrell Reese.

Oh, and I don't like the Cowboys

My avatar is the Bismarck king unit because I like Prussian uniforms and he looks like he is ordering that someone be taken out and shot.

My sig is my job description and a saying I found in a thread who's name has since passed from my memory.

I'm in a secret underground bunker because no modern dictator is without one, bunkers also help keep out the cruise missiles that people keep trying to assassinate me with. Fortunately I am not annoying enough to warrant using the expensive bunker busters, so I'm pretty safe.

I desided to call myself an eccentric dictator, because insane dictator doesn't sound that good. As for my hobbies, they are things famous dictators have done throughout history and I being a dictator, have decided to emulate.

My avatar is one of the enemy graphics that comes default with an RPG-making program called Toolkit, which I downloaded several years ago. The reason I use it is because I was making an RPG with my friends, and I made an enemy with this graphic called "Angry Dirt." I never heard the end of it from my friends, and honestly, I have no idea what I was thinking myself.

However, my avatar will be changing soon... I found something (actually two somethings!) truly worthy of being my avatar...

My title is a phrase that I once used to describe a yogurt container that had been stuffed full of other lunch-related waste, which my friends also found very funny.

My location is just something I made up on the spot when registering at various forums. It doesn't have any deeper meaning, but it's written in the sort of style that one of my friends is particularly fond of using in everyday speech.

My sig is an unintentionally sick, yet hilarious, set of statistics I found in a Russian Life magazine awhile ago. I mean, think about it. First, they tell you that 95% of Russian schools aren't in compliance with fire regulations. Then right after that, they tell you that the # of Russian schoolchildren in 2001 was 15 million, and the estimated # of Russian schoolchildren in 2007 is 5 million. That's just... so horrible... but so funny...

Hmm... I should change my sig, too... it's getting old...

I rescue/raise basset hounds, so I use one for my avatar. My title (the Inbond) should be understandable by anyone who is aware of the character Padma from Gordon Dickson's Childe Cycle series.
