I know there were a lot of rumors that Gannon was a gay prostitute, but I think he was much the Bush lover.
Bush and Republicans were only supporting the Military like the patriots that they are !

I know there were a lot of rumors that Gannon was a gay prostitute, but I think he was much the Bush lover.
All the other members of Congress meet your standards of personal courage I take it? They are truly acting as they believe is right then, without taking heed of their electorate?
If Republican believed the world was flat would you admire them for there "conviction" and "courage" ? Or would you think they are "the party of stupid" and "lemmings with suicide vest" ?
If you were trying to balance your household budget, do you think it would be fiscally responsible to demand less pay from your job?
If you were needing to balance your household budget, do you think it would be fiscally responsible to quit your current job and a take a lower paying one? It seems a simple enough question to me.
So it is fiscally responsible to reduce your income in the face of massive debt?
Either way, it would seem fairly irresponsible to purposely cut your income, right?
So I fail to see your point.
Would the GOP types push the USA into default on it's debts unless Obamacare is dropped ?
In other words would those tea party nutters pull a samson option unless they get their own way ?
How the hell can the GOP have control of the house when they got over a million votes less than the Democrats ?
No no, see, this is conviction, and courage.BTW several of the tea baggers have stupidly been claiming that default would be no big deal and some have even claimed default would improve the economy. They're, of course, raving lunatics but fortunately the business community is turning against the Republicans and will likely force them to shut their crazies up.
Do you believe that Republicans have courage, conviction and principle for calling themselves (Republicans) "the party of stupid" and "lemmings with suicide vest" ?
Oh. So listening to what the voters want, and allowing their input to influence their decisions is contrary to doing what they think is right?
OK.
So in your view, only the 'moderate' Republicans don't have the intestinal fortitude to follow their beliefs, regardless of what the people who elected them want?
All the other members of Congress meet your standards of personal courage I take it?
They are truly acting as they believe is right then, without taking heed of their electorate?
Ya know, things like not sending grandma on that two week cruise to Bahama this year.
I'm talking fiscal responsibility, not about your health. There are two components - income and expenditures. Is it fiscally responsible to move either component in a direction that works against your ability to reduce any deficit or debt?As you know, it depends on the situation.
Your scenario as described is too vague to provide a rational answer.
If I am spending more than I earn, and working 80-hour weeks to pay for it, it makes sense to cut the spending a LOT
and drop some of the hours worked to a level I can handle without wrecking my health from exhaustion. In that scenario,
it makes sense to both cut spending and lower income. Is that the situation you are refering to?
Again, without enough data to make an informed decision, I can only guess at what is responsible behavior.
