Your Traits

How do your bad traits translate into game terms?
impulsive- double cost for rush buying?
forgetful- lose 5% of your research bar every turn?

Perverse- minus 3 relations with all female leaders?

-1 relations with Boudicca
"Past events have proven your bad nature to us. My face is up here."

Would be fun if someone made a mod with only bad traits

Neville Chamberlain- cannot declare war
All French leaders- units gain 50% retreat chance, -30% strength
Catherine - unhapiness in cities for every horse resource utilized (for those who get the "my little pony" achiement in civ5")

Clumsy - 10% chance every turn to lose all the production or lose a building in one of your cities.

Dumb: cannot build libraries

These arent my IRL traits, just some i think would be funny in game :P

Expansive / Industrious

At work, I literally encroach upon the space of neighbours with my piles of papers and other items. I am also a passionate innovator and my work is filled with examples that fill clients with awe and Wonder.

In game terms, I love my Granaries and Forges and will build them even if a City will apparently not benefit from them. I am also a fan of spamming Wonders in my capital on Emperor level or below.

Also, beware of my early-game Worker stealing missions!

In work terms, I have been known to procure co-ops and even full-time resources from other departments to help my overworked staff get the job done... and have even "converted" some of them to join our team permanently.

I am CHA and IMP.

My troops all get experience more quickly. There is a 100% chance my "great general" will emerge. My little settlers are produced quickly, and everyone gets +1:) from my Monument.:mischief:

/tongue out of cheek

Vindictive - -4 to diplo against any AI civ who irritates me for any reason.

Sloppy - -20% to hammers/beakers/commerce in all cities due to poor management of specialists.

Creative and Spiritual. I guess I'm Hatty.

Other funny traits:
Gay: Population stagnates
Animal Lover: No food from Cows, Pigs, Fish, Crab, Clam, Deer or any other food resourse I missed, that would apply.
Natural Farmer: +1 food from Corn, Rice, Wheat, Bananas and any food terrain farmed or plantationed (not dyes, for example).
Natural Fisherman: +1 food from fish, clam, crabs.
Surveyor: Increases the chance of random resourses being found on your mined hills.
Poor Builder: Increases all building construction time by 10%, due to poor materials being used. Also, an increased chance of getting that "Fire has destroyed _____" random event.
Sam Walmart: all Grocers and Markets cost 25% less to build, and generate an addirional 5% gold.

"An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind. - Gandhi "
That sounds wise in theory, but, sorry, if some criminal kills my relative, I'm voting for the Death Penalty.
Not, for a any amount of time locked up in a cell, paid for by tax dollars, so, some politician will try to justify an tax increase.

I'd actually say prison would be worse. You're still alive but in a terrible place; if you're dead it will all be over, and you won't have the lifetime in prison.

Definitely like to play as an AGG/IND...build some key wonders until I get an important military advantage and use that to catapult to the lead.

My favorite traits definitely are PHI/SPI. Fast and early GPs definitely help in snagging early military advantages. SPI also helps, as eliminating anarchy has much larger returns when the the total turn count is low. Granted Gandhi's peacemongering has very little appeal to me but I can't complain with his abilities or his UU.

I'm undoubtedly Spiritual and Protective - I love beelining Monotheism and Theology.

UU - Seminarian - Missionary with +50% chance of spreading religion in cities with preexisting religions.
UB - Bookstore (replaces Library) - +2 culture, +25% research, +2 happiness.

Sorry to drag OT, but it's a good point. Maybe the death penalty is more merciful. It would help overcrowding and would be cheaper, for sure. Besides, people feel they get more vengeance with the death penalty (perception over reality).
