2008 NBA Playoffs

They wouldn't have given out that suspension if your team hadn't been talking trash all week. They're afraid that after 6 games of Lebron basically getting beaten up, that a fight or something breaks out.

Haywood's foul in game 2 was way worse than what happened in game 5. but its pretty hard to play innocent victim here in this series.

Elbows to faces, accidental tanglings and players keeping the other guy from getting out turning into suspensions, constant whining by one player, two players that can take 4 steps, rap lyrics badmouthing a player, and great acting will lead to rough play by the other team. Maybe the ESPN Hype Machine can talk about LeBron's innocence some more and talk about those dirty Wizards. I sincerely hope LeBron gets punched in the face or beat up during Game 6 if the Wiz are down big.

Questionable call for Allen to go for three at that point. You're down two. 2 points.

Then Rondo takes a terrible shot at the end... Rondo, I love you but you are not the guy I want shooting the three when it counts.

Seriously? What happened with all that big talk coming from the Wizards before this series began? 3 times in a row they have been knocked out in the first round by the same team. The Wizards stink. So don't talk trash if you can't back it up! Secondly, your players are trash. Intentionally trying to end LeBron James' career just so you can win a series is disgusting.

Damn, the Hawks forced game 7. Can't believe that.

That's just hilarious. I'd love to see the Cavs face the Hawks in the second round. But the Hawks still have to win on the road, which will be tough.

I would *love* for the Hawks to win game 7, but I don't think they stay within 15 points. I'm happier that we get a few extra days off, so Sasha can get healthy, and hopefully contribute a little bit more this series.

I believe I called Cavs in 6. Blow up the Wizards!

To be fair to Rondo, I don't think anyone was really open on that last play. The shot was horrible though, an airball is just about the worst way to end an exciting game.

Talk is talk. Doing what I said above is something else. And guess what, the Cavs did all that. The Wizards obviously don't stink, or they wouldn't have made the playoffs all these years, even without their star player for 2 of them. 3 of the Wizards starters made the All-Star game in the last 2 years. How many Cavs have? Who's trying to intentionally end LeBron's career? Is it LeBron pushing people's arms so they hit his face? Is it him trying to start fighting? Is it him crying like a little girl after being on the receiving end of a hard foul?

It's called basketball, the following is not:

The others have been ok, but the Haywood foul in game 2 was intentional.

Every foul is intentional, it's accidental only if you get caught. It was a physical series, and the media and bandwagon Cavs fans couldn't stand to see poor LeBron roughed up. The Wizards are the first of a new strategy to stop LeBron and these other teams will be nastier about it too.

Great start by the Hornets. I think this series will be a much tougher test for the Spurs. The Suns basically were clearly outplayed in 3 of the 5 games. I don't think that'll happen to the Hornets.

Yea, it's a bad matchup for the Spurs. Then again, when is the next time that Duncan will have 5 points on 11% shooting? Counting on that is like counting on Brady to throw 3 INT's every game.

The Pistons look like they are back though. I don't think that series goes 6 games...

Atlanta - 8
Boston - 16

Oh boy. Celts already blowing it up.

Looking forward to LeBronze versus the Big Three.

Haywood pushing Lebron further into the air was just disgusting and intentional to try and hurt him. It's a thousand times worse than an elbow to the face after guys have been hacking at you and trying to injure you all series long. What is even more sickening is that admitted rapist Stevenson calling it a, and I quote, "Good foul."

And you do make a strong case that the Wizards are either incompetent or just plain stink. They have 3 all-stars and still get knocked out in the first round for 3 consecutive years...by the same team! And that team doesn't have nearly as many all-stars! If your team was as good as it's purported talent is, then they should be having a top 4 seed in the eastern conference year-in year-out. Clearly that isn't happening.

I'd probably tell my guys to try and kick LeBron's ass too if my team was clearly outmatched by him. Not anything dirty but play him tough and make him earn it. And since he proved he can take it and still be dominant he is now that much better, at least in my eyes.

And congrats to the Hawks, their Game 7 was obviously two days ago. Tonight was ugly for them. (And pretty sweet for me!)

Sweet? Your dream team just got pushed to a game 7 by the worst playoff team in 4 years! When Mike Bibby is your definition of "veteran leadership", it's not supposed to go down in 7.

I didn't say Haywood's foul was excusable. I didn't say the Wizards style of play was good. I said LeBron was acting like a baby and doing the same thing himself. Both of those are true. An intentional elbow to a face is just as bad as pushing someone in mid-air, but LeBron gets away with it, again. Maybe he should take 4 steps and do it. They'll call a foul on Blatche if that happens. And admitted rapist does nothing to help your argument. Stevenson is a basketball player who did something wrong, it doesn't make what he says about a foul wrong for that reason. Disgusting logic used by Jamesalier fans again.

Or injured, or maybe the other team is better than them? I don't know why you're being so obtuse that you can't recognize that in only 1 of those years was every of one of the Wizards best players healthy. In that year, the Wizards were ripped off from the series win. They haven't been healthy since, but you don't know that, since you have no clue on what you're talking about.
