I think it was inevitable, and with the house going not all that cataclysmic. The Dems have a bunch of very promising strategies to hold the house in 2020. The GOP has an outright nightmare trying to hold the senate in 2020. Trump is gonna get anal probed so hard by congressional oversight for the next two years that 2020 is gonna be really hard for him and the GOP on the executive level.
