I saw a Bloomberg ad for president and got kind of sad. It was very generic which makes me hope it won't accomplish anything. It was basically 'Bloomberg will do all the things' without saying how.
For sure but it was extra generic. I just googled to see if I could find it but the only ad I could find was a different, less generic one that is about his personal background.
3) Through the magic of being a billionaire, of course. He's Trump for the left. Which is the reason for (2). That's no Democrat's answer to anything. Even including Trump.
The ad you want to keep your eye open for is Biden's "the world is laughing at Trump" ad--released within 24 hours of the world laughing at Trump (at least the most recent instance).

Why? Does it include any substantial policy even hinting at Biden being anything else than a diet Trump himself? It probably doesn’t and will probably be a net win for Trump should they face off in the general. Ridiculing a man for being talked about behind his back seems weak no matter who or why.
Unrelated to that ad, and this is something I have just heard in conspiracy theory form but it is worth a discussion (if I have not missed it already). If Bernie wins the nom do you guys think Bloomberg will run as an independent and would it matter?

Isn't she dead? I like that she says that Bernie must support the one who wins this time* (ie: Bernie cannot win). Like she knows anything about winning
*Bernie did endorse her anyway and did tens of speeches for her, in the hope she wouldn't lose to Trump - like she did.
I loved the smoking ad and the grin that slowly develops on Cain's face, but I forgot how much that guy talked. He didn't need to say so much, Cain's great, vote for him and take a puff as a segue to Cain.
I guess I was confused by the idea that Michael Bloomberg has anything to do with "the left" except, uh, hating it, being hated by it, and publicly dissing it (and being dissed by it)
Not really. It's semi-serious in that it does bother me that the US does a lot to help the world and we get nothing but mocked and belittled by the very same nations who constantly have their hands out begging for our help.
I'm not saying the US is perfect, but I certainly don't think we deserve all the crap we get from the rest of the world. Especially since a lot of those who poke fun at us have much bigger issues and flaws than we do. They should fix their own issues before making fun of issues in other countries. You know, the whole "he who is without sin cast the first stone" thing.
