@Samson it's really hard to guess what the effects would be because even though it is more dangerous to older people it seems like younger people are more worried about it.

I was going to say that too but then I remember spring break in florida and "if I get corona I get it".

Those aren't younger people, those are kids. They don't vote anyway. I was talking about the fact that I see a whole lot more late twenties and thirties types all masked up at the store than us older folk.

Rather than blame the polititians has anyone thought they reflect the culture of the voters?
As Traitorfish says, the two are not mutually exclusive.
If they insist on a vote in person election in November, it could be loads more dangerous for older voters than younger one. How would that effect the vote?
What if a lot of people go to vote Trump out of defiance even if it'll kill them? Poor old people voted for him earlier even if he was a candidate of and for the rich who'd screw the unhealthy.

Old white folks may stay away unless there is a vote early option to avoid crowds. NM has early voting; I do that; so does my wife. Of course all us old white folks might be dead by then.

A poll suggests that Biden is starting to build a lead over Trump.

I'd guess that's mainly due to Trump's handling of covid-19

Doesn’t matter because with Biden you win nothing. Stop making it out to be a victory when it isn’t. Maybe the US re-join the Paris accord which would be a good thing but ultimately a drop of hope in a bucket of dire mismanagement. You win nothing lasting with Biden. The two-party-one-policy charade continues. The poor, marginalised and vulnerable continue to get shafted for the benefit of corporations in the name of American corporate ingenuity funnelling all tangible wealth to the ~1000 billionaires who don’t even need it but often go to scheduled counselling to rid themselves of the guilt and anxiety of ripping their compatriots off. It’s insane.

It's a start. Stops the GoP stacking the courts.
*****, moan and complain it's Trump or Biden.

Trump or Biden - who cares? I swear there will be a sub 50% turnout.

I think you're making the mistake of thinking that everyone thinks like you do.

So, no ability for the rarely seen Sanders Surge voters to stop being babies and vote out the Tax-Cheat-In-Chief? Or are people only supposed to put aside their reservations when it is their candidate leading?

Like it or not, a strong Biden campaign is our only way to remove the Trump administration and their unique blend of cronyism, cruelty, and incompetence.

I mean a strong Biden campaign is an oxymoron but yea I’ll vote for the sexual predator, bankruptcy monger, mass incarceration corporate democrat. Save RBGs seat.

As the lesser of 2 evils hes the best choice you've got.

Note, there were more of the Clinton Clique (?) who voted for McCain in 2008 (24%) than Bernie Bros voted for Trump in 2016 (12%). From 538.

So this may be right...depending on virus concerns but having nothing to do with what you are constantly harping about...but let's say that as predictable you are dead wrong...what do we win?

This is an old joke that keeps coming back... an oldie but a goodie.

While professors get a lot of leeway, civil servants are required to be largely apolitical on the job. That one passed muster on the desk for a while though. :p

It occurs to me that getting a vaccine developed, manufactured, and distributed is a government project of immense importance. The apparent incompetence of the D'ump administration has yet another facet as a campaign issue.
