WEll i already d/l da patch from fanatics....and also from there.
i tried both patches. it works. tt is..until i load da game

they said i need to put da correct CD inside. wat da hell...
i dun get it. i did not encounter such problems with da version im using ( da earliest one)

I think I heard that some people were having a problem with their cd not working also I thikn it might be a problem with the security device that infogrames put on the disk . you can try going to www.gamecopyworld.com to try and get a cracked copy of the .exe file so you can play the game without the cd.
besides that , maybe you can write a complaint to infogrames or civ3.com to see if they have any other way of fixing this problem.

i consider this:

don't group the European Union with Australia.
make australia, new zealand and nearby islands a league or something....
South East Asian Defence Pact should be called ASEAN and phillipines is part of this, malaysia, KL should be the grouping HQ (since it have tallest building etc )
Japanese Economic League could be called Greater East Asia "Coprosperity Sphere" (historical WW2 name ) and made of Japan, South Korea, Taiwan
china will hold mongol and north korea?

I don't like having to rely on another country for my rubber supplies I guess that is real life.

Tried to set it up to play as the Russians and failed. Must have done something wrong.
It's gona take me a while to play as the Yanks. Next time around, I will try again.

I agree with someone else, Australia should not be with Europe.
America maybe, or SE Asia. But Not with Mahatir (Malaysia) as boss. He is hated and despised here.

I realize now that I probably shouldnt have put australia with europe but the map that I used constrained my options.
I didnt want to used a big map because I thought it would be too much work.
I dont think there was much room to put many of the archipelagos that are in the pacific into the game, and I didnt want to have a country that was only Austalia and New Zealand.
However, next time I have about 30 or 40 hours of free time to spare, Ill be sure to make a whole new scenario on a huge map with Australia being its own country

Only found one bug?

When I click on one of your new types of government, in the civilopedia, to see if they are good for waging war. The game crashes and I go back to the Windows acreen.

There is an error message, but it is so quick it is impossible to read.
Something about something being missing.

Having a lot of fun.

Sorry about the civilopedia thing, I dont know how to edit it so it will work.
If you want to see the different effect of the government I suggest looking at the scenario throught the editor.
