The evolution of languages in the Iberian peninsula and just outside of it:
Spoiler :

P.S.: Not long ago they have opened Basque schools in France (funded by the Basque government).

The French position on languages is silly, in the extreme.

I'm pretty sure that Sardinia was bilingual Catalan/Sardinian from the catalan expansion into mediterranean (13th and 14th centuries) to the italian unification.

And the las map shows catalan in Aragon as specially endangered, when it's not. Not to mention the basque and leonese borders, which are completely wrong.

Using Graphic Converter, it's my first map, and a very simple one.

It's more utopic and balanced rather than irrealistic:

If never existed the Holy Alliance, revolutions would have spread all across europe. This map refers to the year commonly refered as the ''spring of nations''
Don't mind the little blank pixels
Towards an europe of nations(1848):

Why would Finland invade Sweden?
Finland was pretty fascist at the time but I doubt there would've been enough support in the parliament or the public for such madness. The fascist ultranationalists wanted to unite Karelia with Finland but Sweden... eh...

when the Fuhrer says invade u must invade, don't mess with Adolf.Well Hitler would want all of Europe to be fascist and Finland would obey

Lactose intolerance!

God damn I love being from Northern/Central Europe.

I thinked that sweden would have turned the sails to the nazis if they were about to win the war. A finnish invasion just wouldn't work.

I doubt Argentina and Uruguay having statistics that high. The vast majority of them are Germans, Italians, East Euro's and Spaniards after all.

Venezuela as well is strange. From my personal experience, I see most people drinking milk no problem.

As for Mexico, I can't believe it is so low, I mean after all people there tend to drink Coca-Cola for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. (actually, it's like that all over latin america except maybe Argentina)

No, it's just unrealistic. The utopian map of the Spring of Nations nationalistic programs looks a lot different. For instance, what the hell's with that Poland-Lithuania nonsense? In 1848? Controlling Prussia?

Because Coca-Cola is delicious (although i prefer pepsi).

Im not Lactose intolerant. :smug: :p

It's disgusting to drink Coca-Cola in such large quantities.

And Mexicans drink ALOOOOT of coke. I think they are actually #1 in the world in Cola consumption. (or behind China or maybe America anyway)

Its because we have Mexican Coke, which is far superior to standard coke.
