LuckyMoose, If Spain never colonized Venezuela, than the Andes region of Venezuela should be Colombian as well as the Western half of Lake Maracaibo. Also I think eventually due to cultural differences between the Brazilians north of the Amazon(Venezuela) and the Brazilians to the south (Brazilians), the Brazilian-Venezuelans would've wanted independence at some point in the storyline.

South America was entirely colonized by Leon. Then given autonomy as client kingdoms which eventually just broke the connection. With varying levels of loyalty to Leon over the years.

No, I meant that Venezuela should be independent from Brazil, as I would imagine over the years and general lack of connectivity between the two areas of civilization would've meant different culture would develop.

Plus, I don't think they would like to be ruled by Rio de Janeiro.

Lucky, I disagree on Japan's expansion into central China toward Mongolia. I think they would conquer the coast before going for that worthless land.

I imagine in the UAE's case it's because there's been a huge population boom, mostly in the form of poor workers from elsewhere in the Muslim world, particularly South and South-East Asia. Even though their total wealth has increased greatly, the number of wage-slaves must drag the average down something awful.

Still some very meh parts to it, but on the whole it looks alright.

"very meh"?

What do you mean?

Oman is interesting.

Bahrain, Kuwait and UAE are also interesting.

You mean Qatar.

I assume figures for the Gulf States count migrant workers as well as actual citizens of the country.

What happened in Equatorial Guinea?

Oil controled by few. And the fact that Spain only used it as an agricultural colony.
