why is Bosnia the same as Poland

Laziness on my part, I think of them both as fairly unique laces. Nonetheless, some oddities are deliberate. for some reason I think of Papuans as being East African types, and Israel is deliberately same as the US. Bulgarians, Serbs and Montenegrans are pretty close to Russians as farm as I'm concerned.

Guyana and Suriname are just little Indias that somehow found their way in the Americas.

So I have Altered this map and you have to find what I altered.

In this map of the world, I have altered 32 different locations of the map.
Which means that I could have either added stuff or taken away stuff or just changed a whole area.

Don't worry about the borders too much, of the 32, only three or four are more politically changed while the other 28-29 are more geographically changed.
I also made sure that it was not too obscure and while, some are harder to spot than others, all of them should make you go "Oh YEAH! I totally missed that!!" once you find out the answer.

Antarctica is not touched.

You are suggested to download the map and zoom in close if you wish in Europe.

Try not to research it!

I also removed two nations and added a fictional nation. Can you name the two removed countries?

I have to admit, there are three changes that only people really familiar with the area will realise upon glance or after a lot of observation.

Put your answers in a spoiler so people can guess first before finding them out.

Person with the most correct answers wins a self made title of gratification.

I'll post the answer sheet in a couple of days.

The two ''countries'' near Georgia are South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Not internationally recognised as being independent, although some states (Russia) do recognise them.

As for Morocco controlling parts of the Western Sahara.. Well it does doesn't it?

NE Greenland seems altered. And so does Egypt, even though I cannot tell you why.

Lake Balkhash has been turned around and so does Micronesia.

Fictional lake in Kyrgyzstan. Another on between Sweden and Norway.

Gujarat is now an island.

Tha Maldives have been moved.

That gulf in the Caspain sea is now a lake.

The Aral Sea is still there.

Yucatan looks odd.

Bhutan appears to be missing.

Iceland has been moved further west

Djibouti has become independent.

Some Lakes in Africa are missing.

The is a new country in between the Ukraine and Moldova

The Kurill islands immediately North of Japan have been removed.

Gotland has changed places with the islands outside of Estonia.

The Faroe Islands have been moved south to outside of Denmark.

That is all I can see right now.

Okay, I am quite sorry about this but when I first got the base map for this, the original creator left the existing nations of North Cyprus, West Sahara, South Ossetia, Abzabakia(?), Trinistinia(???? in Moldova), Somaliland, and Nagaro-Karblah(?) the lack of Kosovo there.

So I decided to just let them stay there. Anyway, anyone who guesses this, they are not the changes I made. You can also tell that they are disputed areas for these states don't own a land border with sovereign states.

Now that you mentioned it , Monaco and Vatican City aren't there for some reason. Nevertheless, they aren't the changes I made.
