Minnesota stood united against Reagan. (At least I think it was Reagan, '82)

'84- There was no presidential election in '82. Also, DC voted against both Nixon and Reagan, and every other Republican Presidential Candidate.

Any explanation for the reasoning behind 2012 and 2016? I can't see California going Republican anytime soon, definitely not with the Bay Area and LA Area being so populated (and liberal)

Republican New England makes even less sense.

The pink in North America is the Crown of England, and the red in Western Europe and Africa is the USR. Argentina does not exist, having been incorporated into the Crown of England.

Yes, I have heard of and played Kaiserreich. It did not cross my mind when I was making the map and I don't think the two are similar anyway.

It did not take place.

Korea and Japan are isolationists and the Great Powers did not get around to them because they were busy fighting other Great Powers.
