Cameroon-Nigeria, Norway-Finland, Turkey-Syria, and Russia-Kazakhstan. All the major errors I can detect.

OK, from a short glance, you need to correct:

a) Czech Republic - has one Polish Province
b) Slovakia (two provinces in the north)
c) Serbia (northern province of kosovo should belong to Serbia)
d) Moldova / Romania /Ukraine (it's just wrong, two Moldovan provinces should be part of Romania, while some Ukrainian provinces should be part of Moldova)
e) Poland (one Ukrainian province near the south-east corner of Poland should be part of it)
f) Finland (two provinces in the extreme north should be part of it; on the map you gave them to Norway)
g) Armenia (it's westernmost province should be part of Turkey)

Attempted to fix these. Still unsure about Kazakhstan.

Actually, China's border with SE Asia looks fine. Their border with Russia, though, looks horrible.

Also, why are Taiwan, Kosovo, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia put as seperate from PRC, Serbia, and Georgia when no other partially recognized state is put as seperate from the country most of the world claims it's a part of?

Attempted to fix the Russian border problem. And regarding how I decided which partially-recognized states to add, I went to this page on Wikipedia and added everything under "Non-UN member states recognised by at least one UN member" and "Partially unrecognised UN member states" with one exception: North Cyprus. Because that would require adding new borders to the map and, despite me doing this whole thing, I am lazy. :p However, I did add in Palestine, since it's under one of those sections.

Kazakhstan looks fine, as do all the other borders. Some of them still look weird, but just because of the map you're using.

I seem to recall that any map is allowed in this kind of thread.

Plus, it kind of is an altered Earth... if you translated the cultures and not the geography, anyway.

Sonic Shift's Mobius in year 1199.

Most references to the real world nations are pretty thinly veiled. :p Some are easy to spot(Urssia, by size and name, is pretty obviously Russia), but others might require a bit of thought and research. More prominent countries get their own colors.

I'll be making the map of 1203, at the Conclusion of the Great War, showing the transformed Mobius as a result of Robotnik's global takeover.

I finally contributed to this thread, with an altered map:

It is 1675. In the West, the nations of the German Union and the Russian Empire are gobbling up everything, while France plunges into a civil war. In the East, however...

The lines within the German Union are different states of the union. The lines within France are the borders of the different states as well, just occupied by either the north (blue) or the south (purple). French territories overseas are not occupied, and are referred to as Colonial France. England is also occupying Calais. The slightly reddish countries near the Ottoman Empire are states trying to break free from them, but haven't really gone anywhere. Only Bosnia and Montenegro have successfully split from them. Albania is controlled by Iberia.

Needs more life in on east Africa's coast.

this long border province should be in Lithuania, not in Belarus.

If you make Ossetia and Abkhasia separate - so should be Karabach, Somaliland and Puntaland.

Dearborn is only acceptable if it has the word "Fort" in front of it.

why so arbitrary? im sure the USA can make a better 38 state borders.

...besides some fo the states names were there for centuries. they wouldn't accept new york being part of Hudson.

That's quite an ugly map.

It's supposed to make states more "natural" with regards to geographic regions in the US.

Why change Hawaii's name, but not it's borders, and why does the state of Erie have no part of Lake Erie?

Anyone have a map of North America (really only need down to Mexico) with provincial/state boundaries on it? Having trouble finding one I like. Even better if it had the US counties on it too. (and big :p)
