Altered Maps XII: Not to Scale

Seen this one?

Spoiler :
The size of each territory shows the relative proportion of the world's population living there.

That image constantly annoys me because the original creator didn't know how to spell "that's".

That is also the joke. :mischief:

Severing the Volga supply-line to/from the Caucasus region, followed by subsequent seizure of the (remnants of) the oil field there?
No, those are the potential knock-on effects of a Nazi victory. I mean, what would it take for the Nazis to define Stalingrad as a victory? Seizing Mamayev Kurgan? Capturing the krazny Oktyabr plant? Simply driving the Communists off the west bank of the Volga entirely? Obtaining a lodgment on the east bank? Clearing the artillery from the east bank? What are we talking about here?

Probably, imo, the Nazis either solidifying the flank north of Stalingrad or being able to capture Astrakhan and securing the entire southern Volga.

Wait, whom do you mean exactly by the Nazis? The regime propagandists, Hitler and his cohort, or the military?

Let's say the average German, just because

Are you talking about "Stalingrad" at this point or "the whole of Fall BLAU"?

The former are irrelevant. I was thinking more the second two. It's hard-to-impossible to separate them anyway.

New map I made. It's just a regular fantasy kind of map, but I haven't added states or rivers yet. I don't think I will add rivers.

Lots of countries influenced the map - points to whoever can guess one.

I swear I count like 4 Japans.

That's crazy because I completely see what you're talking about. Actually I was only thinking about Japan when making the archipelago in the SE (one of the two Koreas is right to the West, and Turkey is right beyond that Korea). About half the Northern coast was based on Russia, the other half I just made up.

I can see the Russia now, along with the 4 Japans

Korea I can kind of see, I'm at a loss for Turkey though.

I see a Russia, a Korea, a Turkey and a Japan.
