Well there is an insurgency group that is being started to stop this from even hapening. It is in earlier in this thread.

Even though I haven't been nearly as up-to-date on this stuff, I know it won't happen. Competition is what drives these sites to become better - NOT merging.

From what I remember, the competition on Civ 4 coverage was frickish intense back in the day. I really loved the competition.

It was good for the community as a whole and for the two sites as independent entities. =)

I am okay with merging under a few circumstances

1. OTs remain seperate

2. We keep our HoF members (different then civ HoF) and Post Stats.
