You would describe yourself as unevolved?
I do not believe that it is even happening, so I would not be unevolved at all.
How much do you attempt to educate yourself on the claims, evidence, arguments, whatever you call them, made by evolutionary biologists? Because (and I know we don't need just another evolution/creation debate, but this is relevant) it strikes me that very few creationists actually understand the claims made by evolutionary biologists.
My main focus is on learning more about the wonders of God's creation. I do educate myself a bit about the claims. Well one of the problem that I have with evolutionary claims is the fact that they say that evolution = change. But then there are many different types of change. There is some forms of change that can actually go against what should happen, i.e. increase of information, whereas many are actually a decrease of information.
Please explain why God found it necessary to create such a massive universe, if only one little planet 'Earth' mattered? Secondly how do you explain the fact that due to the speed of light, we can clearly see things which happened millions or even billions of years ago. Setting an obvious limit on how young the Universe, or Earth could be.
I will get into more detail about that one, since it too late for me to go into detail.
Where did you first learn to be a creationist?
I mean did you learn that in school or its extra-curricular activities?
Do you have science courses at school?
if yes .... what do you do with what they teach you in school?
I really am not too sure where I first was taught it, but I would say that in Sunday school. It has only been recently that I have been more interested in the whole issue. When I was at school I was basically was taught operational science and Evolution did not play a part in my teaching, neither did creation for the matter.
1)did you get a moderator's permission to open this thread?
2)Is it just the earth you believe to be young, or the whole universe
b)if it's the whole universe, why isn't it YUC?
3)I already know this one, but for the benefit of all reading the thread: why 6000 years? why not 5000? or 7000?
corollary: if he created the light already in transit, wouldn't that create images of events that never happened? A false history of sorts?
2. Considering the events of creation it comes with the package that we believe that the universe is the same age.
3. Using the genealogies in the Bible give an age of about 6000 years. Generally we say that the most we can get it out to is 10,000 years.
Why do you think god made animals so similar to other animals ex: fish to amphibians, apes to humans, if evolution was not part of his plan.
Why dont you think evolution was part of gods plan?
1. Similarities can also be evidence for a designer.
2. No, because there is no mention of evolution in the Bible and the Bible is clear that he created the animals in their separate kinds and from that we the variation we see today.
How did kangaroos get back onto Australia?
They hoped on a boat.

Basically they would just been able to cross during the Ice age, because the path to Australia via Asia would not be too hard to get if the water level is lower due much of it being ice at that stage.
What makes a Young Earth Creationist different from an Old Earth Creationist?
Do you feel that your views on Young Earth Creationism clash against other ideologies including: Theistic Evolutionist, Old Earth Creationist, and Evolutionist?
1. The supreme belief that the Bible is accurate in what it says. There is no way you could plainly read the Creation account and get billions of years into it. You have to force a reading that is unnatural to it. Many people have tried and failed to do so
2. They clash with every single one of those that you have mentioned.
Who did Caine sleep with in order to produce a family?
His sister of course. It would have been plain wrong for him to have sex with his mother. :gross: I really do not understand why this is a big issue. This would also be a problem for evolutionists on how the first humans had sex, because everyone is related and thus we all had to have dome from one source.
Dinosaurs and humans co-existed, right? So maybe you guys have a good theory on the following ...
Could you take on a raptor with a suit of platemail and a sword?
Well the Bible does say that after the flood that animal will fear us.
Genesis 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
We have survived against some terrible animal in our time, so I am not too sure why a raptor would be no different. In fact I am more worried about fellow humans, because they will do more harm to me than all the creatures could ever do to me. You don't see me avoid fellow humans as a result.
ALso you have a romanticised view of Dinosaurs as just being cold blooded killers and that all they did was terrorise the population, but there is another side to dinosaur that were meat eaters.
Titanic terro Bird
"Perhaps the most famous example of prehistoric hyperbole is Tyrannosaurus rex. Movies such as Jurassic Park and television shows often portray T. rex as an enormously massive, lightning fast, rampaging killer which eats everything in sight. However, this image may be based more on myth than hard scientific data.
Even in the evolutionary community, opposing camps continue to debate whether or not T. rex was an opportunistic scavenger or an aggressive predator. In addition, one research team calculated, based on a more cold-blooded metabolism, that T. rex may have only needed to eat one human-sized meal every five to six days. As for its running speed, the most exhaustive biomechanical analysis surmised that 18 km/hr (11 mph) is a reasonable estimate. Modern-day elephants have been clocked at around 24 km/hr (15 mph). Also, paleontologists have estimated T. rex to have weighed 68 tons. Modernday African elephants also weigh 68 tons, with the largest elephant ever recorded being slightly over 13 tons. Perhaps the creationist model, in which man coexisted with dinosaurs, is not so far-fetched after all. Elephants rival, and maybe even surpass, T. rex in mass, speed, and belligerence; yet, man has come to tame, utilize, and dominate (wrongly when it comes to poaching) this massive beast."
You could even read this from the BBC about T-Rex's. This questions the fact that they were ever the killers that put them up to be.
T.Rex - Warrior or Wimp?
Does it bother you that YECs are considered a laughingstock, even by other Christians?
Considering that most churches have waivered in their beliefs about many of the core issues of Christianity, that I really do not care what they think about what I believe, as long as I am searching from the truth, that is all that matters to me.
Have you ever wavered in your beliefs?
In this, no, but in other beliefs about the Bible I have waivered in my beliefs, but that is because I am human, and not someone that is perfect.
How do you reconcile the belief of an Young Earth Creationist (Which states that the Earth was formed 6000-5000 years ago) when we have radiological dating that dates rocks and fossils beyond the 6000 years BP (Before Present) line?
Well considering some the data that does against that view, I believe it is the wrong interpretation of the data. I will give more info about that, but it just too late for me to go into details.
