Good game for the scummers. I was just coming around to Zack actually being scum when I was killed. It was all or nothing with him, and I bet on the all for him being town the last night - not that it mattered really by then.

But I was right about the Arakhor lynch wagon. 2 Scummers on that whittled down list. Maybe next time we (town) work through a case like that in a bit more organized fashion...

Well, I'm glad it wasn't my decision yesterday that caused our defeat, that was intense. Sorry for missing the last day but I thought it would begin now.

Still can't wrap my head around how mass posting as town helps anything.

It doesn't.

I don't think there's a wrong way style to play mafia, although there are clearly suboptimal strategies. (Self preservation townies)

But posting 500 times a day versus 50 confers no great bonus to town. At best it breaks even. In the 2+2 mafia championships of 2014, the mafia won 4 of 5 games including a shut out with no scum killed. In 2015, Zack in the first match led to another sweep.

500 posts might be fun, but it doesn't help for hunting. It's a lot more tone reading and lot less content analysis. It has to be, because you can't keep track of everything that's been said, and you can't fully integrate the context in which it's done. It's like cramming information for a big test.

To be fair, all the other games had a higher posting rate and the town won all of them.

I believe that posting more than the 'usual' on CFC/Org is better for the town, but obviously not to such a large extent.

POG/MU, etc too much. CFC/Org, a tad too little.

Just a bit more than what we normally get is the sweet spot IMO, where everyone has content, but there isn't so much that it overwhelms everyone.
