Indeed. Town was a complete shambles this game, though for various different reasons. Mine was because I was simply unwell and not engaging at all with the game.

I forget when in the Dead QT that I called the ending as a flawless mafia win, but congratulations on achieving that. :)

Highly enjoyable game to spectate. Alongside pizza for his exemplary (as always) hosting, much credit goes to the newcomers for the energy they brought to proceedings. The extreme post-rate was pretty catastrophic for town's chances, but it was fun to watch the ensuing chaos, and scum get big marks for style and finesse in the way they brought it home.

very enjoyable, good game! Perhaps a bit town heavy in their roles, the scum deck of cards could have been tumbling down

And bah, I was sooooo confident in my "top scums" and didn't go for my "secondary scums" :( (floated around zack/lohr multiple times)

good work!

I never even considered that there might be scum that don't know each other. And the sheer amount of protective town roles took me by surprise as well - knowing I was a BP and seeing some other protective roles already dead just made me suspicious of people claiming doctors and whatnot.

Very well played gents, well done.

Still can't wrap my head around how mass posting as town helps anything. Maybe it's magnified as the only game I've been around in where it happened, but it just seemed like everything gets buried way too easy with the chatroom-style posting. Idk, maybe I'm too old-school to play mafia this way.

Achievement unlocked: Be wrong about absolutely everything for the entire game, then come up with a scum team at the end that has three townies in it.

What Legato said about how he and Zack acted in such a manner that there was no way they could both possibly be scum was spot-on. Zack- I mentioned it in that post I made giving my reads on everyone, but I can never tell the difference between scum Zack and town Zack's in-thread behavior, and yet, I was so sure that he was town! Why did I do that? Why did I have to go to such effort to save him on Day 5?

Lohr had some background scumminess but he did too good of a job of convincing me he was being a new player, not a scummy one, and he did a pretty good job of not showing any sort of connections to other players, making it pretty difficult to formulate exactly who else could be part of his scum team. I just kept overlooking him and paying attention to Kennigit and Al and Backwards and edse and everyone else I was so sure was scummy.

Am I ever going to learn that if I think Kennigit is scummy, that's an almost sure sign that he's town?

Anyway, good game, everybody. It was fun and engaging even if I played like a total idiot.

Well, my leans in the Dead QT (post #2)
Definitely glossysushi (or else a townie that singlehandedly almost destroyed the town).

Lohrenswald, Zack, perhaps Cuthillius/BL/BSmith.
2 of those 5 were part of the 4-man mafia team.

The way I see it, it's not that I'm new, it's that I'm bad

but my incredibly poor abilities as town sort of translates to a strength as mafia

so I got revenge for This is Madness now tee hee

How would he have known, then?

But wasn't he your hidden mafia? It makes sense for him to be quite clueless about it.

I don't see why that's a problem. I would expect informants to almost be clueless townies as far as their knowledge goes, otherwise you might as well make them full mafia.

I've done such games before, don't you remember Visor's last one at the .org?
