Thank you hobbs, but to be fair, it was a picture I found online rather than my own work.

Still hilarious though.

Is this an extremist position, or is it just apathy? I don't know, do I? What do you think?

*There are, naturally, exceptions to this. For example, when Hitler formed the opinion that he should invade Poland ... I'm rather inclined to the position that this was a wrong opinion.

Zas gut.

I stumbled on this message exchange accidentally and I find hilarious:

WS is a nice town. We (wife and I) lived in Efland (Orange Cty) most of our years in NC. Our kids were both born in Durham and our daughter happens to live in Carrboro now. We loved living there, but have been spoiled by NM.

It makes me extremely nervous to get a private message from a mod without an infraction attached.

Do you by chance work for federal law enforcement?
Birdjaguar said:
 not at all, but I do send out lots of not infraction pms and visitor messages.
MisterCooper said:
An anagram for Birdjaguar is " A Rid Bug Jar", which seems suspiciously apt for a mod or a fed.
Birdjaguar said:
While not a fed (I run a Real Estate development business), I am a mod. If it would make you more comfortable, I could infract you for something.
MisterCooper said:
Maybe just a small one.
:lmao:

Thanks to MisterCooper and Birdjaguar for letting me share this gem!

So if we are to believe the media that Abramovich was dreaming of Guardiola day and night, what is he doing right now? Locked in his room and thrashing the place à la Franco Begbie in Trainspotting? Crying while writing Benitez a long term contract? Or sending text messages to Jürgen Klopp?

:rotfl:

Yay I got quoted in this thread!

What is that?

An old British TV series starring Rowan Atkinson. Perhaps from the 80s? Not sure.

The bit from Blackadder was a character claiming that "irony" means "like goldy or silvery, but it's made of iron". Don't really see what that has to do with Aimee's quip? :dunno:

No, I got "irony > magnets". I'm just not seeing where Blackadder slots into this.

Well, I thought the magnet-joke was about irony->metally->magnets, that's how I understood it. And I knew the joke 'irony is something metally' from Blackadder.
But apparently the magnet-joke was about something else? :)

Most metals are not magnetic.

I think the horse has stopped kicking folks. :p

Well the idea i for it because iron is especially magnetic, so if I brought a magnet to a thread about irony amusing things would happen

Ironically, it turns out nothing happened.

:lmao: Pure genius!
