CQUI - A UI Overhaul (Now out on Steam Workshop!)

Is there any way I can make a change so that tech pop ups are on by default? I like them and I keep forgetting to turn them on every time I load a game.

Perhaps you can save the value (on/off) for future versions, so that the mod/game remember our choices?

I'm working on merging a PR which allows defaults to be set via an SQL file. It's not pretty, since you need a text editor, but it's indeed something! Expect this soonish, it's on the list for finishing up before v0.7

I've been hearing this a lot, and it's certainly an interesting design problem! Popups are too intrusive, but the voiceover just isn't enough. I'm considering the possibility of adding the option for the end turn button to be blocked by pending policy changes, like the kind you already get for when you have unoccupied card slots.

Since the patch I have a minor/annoying bug where the "Recommended" icon is appearing over every single tech on the Tech tree. Anyone else experiencing this? Only happens with CQUI enabled. Playing with a friend with the mod but only seems to be happening for me.

yeah that is odd isnt it.

In fairness they are all worth researching, maybe shes right lol.
 
Afaik, it is not compatible. Causes an issue where your city screen gets locked out after you create your 1st production que.(at least that was the bug I noticed)

CQUI dev is looking into incorporating it, but has not as of yet.:badcomp:
 
So how will this work with the new Civ6 patch - any experiences?

Works, but some things aren't 100% yet. You can download the 1.0.0.38 compatibility branch here. It's not complete yet, which is why it's not in the main nightly yet, but it's a step up from the current state.
The main nightly is now 100% compatible. Yay!

This is a known issue and will be fixed in the compatibility fix update

It's going to happen! Right now it's on the backburner though until I sort out the fall patch
It's now my main focus

Curious as to wether or not anyone has noticed a lot of multiplayer desynch using the mod?
 
Where do I get the newest version from?? The zip file still says it was last updated a few weeks ago?? :\
 
Any quick advice on which code to delete/edit in the mod files to re-enable builder improvement suggestions?
 
Having a hard time telling if a "post fall patch" update has been released..
