Ages ago Mrs Bobbit cut off Mr Bobbit's. It was quite famous in the US. Don't know what Mr Bobbit did to deserve this but Mrs Bobbit went on to become a hero among the feminist set. Some time later the story came back, Mr Bobbit was in the news, he had become a porn star.

I thought about that too but I think it's useful to put things into perspective. I think if they expressed it as a % then they wouldn't need to put the blue bar (i.e. 18% for Cyprus, 34% for Belgium); phrasing it as a % would have been more useful too imo. But the way they phrased it, having the blue bar makes sense to me. Anyway...

Useful for putting things into perspective would be the graph we had once about income inequality before and after taxes and transfers.
E.g. Denmark is one of the most egalitarian countries on the planet before taxes (even more so than after), while many of the high tax countires in that graph (France, Belgium) have quite the income inequality before taxes.

Hard to imagine that. He's been playing in front of audiences since he was a kid. I saw him in concert and he seemed pretty at ease, chatting up the crowd no less than anyone and maybe a bit more than most.
