Not even in the Caribbean?

Okay.

Yeah, I've never seen the trading company corporation.

Also, more minor things:
-You can't switch to the Dutch when they spawn, only the Persian pop-up shows.
-Germany is way too powerful, and for some reason, France seems way too weak. It's common for the Germans to completely smash Italy within turns of their spawn, and for them to own some, or all of, France. It's also common for France to be a vassal, controlling only Paris, or completely gone altogether by the 1400s. What happened?

Germany is way too powerful, I saw them build the Statue of Liberty in 1680

Theres not use in fixing Germany since they will be taken out of the Middle Ages anyways since Austria is going to be added in the near future and the whole Central Europe will be tweaked (or atleast I hope so).

Leoreth,

When and what can we expect in the next update (svn)?

Also when will you be officially releasing the next version?

When it's done.

I suggest we tune down German production bonus, from 5 stars down to 3 stars, and change their UP, make their production become 5 stars after some Bismarck quest.

I intend to split Germany apart into an 9th century HRE and 18th century Prussia, and Prussia will get most of Germany's current modifiers. So I guess an HRE that's weaker than Germany currently is will even everything out.

India is extremely hammer poor and considering cows give +2:hammers: and are ubiquitous in India they could definitely be a suitable buff

PS I think raising rice from +1:food: w/ farm to +2:food: w/ farm would be a good idea since it provides more food in South/East Asia where it is needed. Also why is India's only rice (1!) is in North India, North India is historically wheat and stuff whereas South India has been the rice part.

Perhaps it might help if a Hindu bonus for hammers on cows was applied? Actually changing resource bonuses for different religions a la SoI would be quite nice IMO.

You Can't hav the cake and eat it too. If you are going to give India the food bonuses that it has than I think production should not be enhanced. Anyways this is the best way to represent the fact That even with all of it's population India was prone to invasion and often run over by other contrie and armies

The Ganges is also know for massive rice production.

I think it's odd that rice has the lowest :food: bonus of the three cereals seeing as how rice is the staple crop of regions that have much higher population densities than the regions fed primarily by wheat or corn.

I was unaware that resources gave different bonuses in SoI depending on religion. Could you give an example? I'm not sure that such a :hammers: boost would be necessary. Given all of the other boosts being implemented, India seems pretty good.

Um, dude, I'm asking for 2-3 cows, that's a whooping total of adding 4-6:hammers: to India, is that serious overpowering? Varanasi's raw hammers counting city tile is a whooping 7:hammers:, adding mines to the hills increases it to a whooping 10:hammers:, adding another two hammers isn't going to break the game especially considering Osaka offers 13:hammers:. Dilli offers 12:hammers: and you don't need iron working to unlock a third of them...

Indian empires were frequently run over... by other Indians... :mischief:

South India minerals, place iron 1NW of the gold
The hill 1S of Varanasi should be given coal (only reason it wasn't heavily developed is because there were few factories in India)
North India iron should be moved 2E (that's where 2/3's of India's iron lies!)

That should bring India up to speed if you put 1-2 rice in the South and 1-2 cows around India (definitely add one on the Gangetic plain by Varanasi)

Well, most peoples that overran India were only considered Indian after the fact ...

There is a problem with France's spawn. They're not getting Bordeaux flipped to them in either 3000 BC and 600 AD. Marseille doesn't flip in 600 AD either.

Well yeah, the whole concept of an "Indian" is kind of BS anyway, consider the fact that I'm Indian and yet where my family is from was forcibly annexed in 1961 by India.

See the thing is that India is a vibrant mixing pot, lots of stuff gets put into it and gets mixed up creating new vibrant flavours yet really it's all still curry.

Damn, I'm really craving some curry now

nonetheless the resources need to be fixed up, also if you could release a new version and then implement the Delhi Sultanate/Mughal Empire. Also if the current India reconquers all of India can its name be set to Bharat :please:

Guess what takes me so long ;)

Specifically, Muslims get no bonus (or is it reduced bonus?) from pigs/ wine. I believe. If I'm wrong it's simple enough to implement anyways.

Yes. Noticed in Synthesis. In Denver to Dhaka this actually helped to establish an Arab outpost in Marseille. Charles Martel can suck it :p
